Nothing Beats the Spring at the Lake!

Take it easy at this unique getaway that rests in a quiet cove on Badin Lake. Enjoy "me" time, read a book on the dock, sit at the fire, fish, hop on your boat. Simply get away. You do You!

Badin lake is a great place for fishing and going out on the boat to get around. A great lake for a pontoon as well as activities (water ski / wake board / tubing). We have a floating pier connected beside a permanent structure that can hold a boat up to 20ft. Please make sure you have your fenders on you boat as they are not provided on the pier. Cleats on on the pier to tie down to. In the event the lake would go down (occasionally in the fall/winter) multiple feet, there might not be enough water to place your boat. Feel free to ask in those situations if the water is good for your boat.

If you're expecting a 5-star resort, this may not be the place for you. This is a comfortable cottage built in the 1960's. We take great pride in the property with the goal of giving you the best experience possible. There have been gradual updates to the place and will continue to.

Kyla was an amazing host! Very quick to respond to questions or needs. Home is perfectly located on the lot with plenty of shade. The cove is the friendliest we have ever experienced! Lake access

The house was fine and access to the lake easy. My only negative comment relates to weather. Days were in the 90’s during our stay. There is a wall ac unit in the living/ kitchen area. No vents in either bedroom. So common area was quite cool. We used the provided fans but the cords were not long enough to reach the living area and blow cooked air into the bedrooms I would stay there again but not in hot weather.

My wife and I had a great time while we were there and yes this is not 5 star if that's what you're looking for it's just a nice country home to stay in the only complaint I would have is parking a boat trailer there
