This is a beautiful old inn, full of character and a little shabby around the edges. We enjoyed a comfortable stay and appreciated the cooked to order breakfast each morning. It is located within easy walking distance of many shops and restaurants and easy driving to some beautiful beaches and scenery.

The place was filthy. Both flights of stairs hadn’t seen a vacuum in a very, very long time… dirty boot prints on the steps on the way to the third floor. On checking the bed we found long black hairs in the sheets….the room’s ’private bathroom ‘ was across the hall. We left immediately. The only good thing about the experience was they processed our refund as soon as they were told it was impossible to stay there. Would not recommend.

The turret room lovely but a/c wouldn’t turn off. We were cold. Tub needed a plug and tub dangerously slippery. Fridge not working. Grounds lovely. Had to call to check in. Seen better days but the bed was comfy and nice and quiet. We enjoyed it nevertheless

The hotel is fine. The room was pretty large and comfortable but showing signs of shabbiness. The water had little pressure in the sink. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. There was no ice made in the ice machine and the weather was hot. The breakfast was good.

This was a lovely, large historic home and kept in great condition. The room was very comfortable and sweet being up on the top floor under the sloping roof. It was a B&B setup, and the one issue was that, as early risers, we would have really appreciated having a coffee maker in the room or in the lobby instead of only available when breakfast started at 8.

Beautiful Victorian home. Breakfast provided. Grounds lovely and easy parking. Have to climb stairs to rooms so difficult for some people. No real staff presence but were available when called. Otherwise unseen. Worth it for the price and breakfast included is a bonus.

The windows in the room were torn. There’s a bright light outside our windows at night. The shower doors were improperly installed so the water would come outside the shower when you’re trying to get in when we had to hunt down the front desk person to check in.
