We really enjoyed our time at this hotel - from the buffet breakfast, open pool, proximity to the beach, our room to the lovely day spa - it was great! Our room was spacious and very clean, we couldn't fault it. The staff were really friendly and we didn't have any language barrier issues. I only have a couple of suggestions for improvement - poolside service would be great (while they deliver your drinks poolside, you need to go to the bar to order them) and the staff struggled to keep up with the hordes of people who descended on the buffet breakfast over the weekend. It's in a great location, right by the beach. In sum, if you want to stay somewhere close but not too close, to Noumea, then you should definitely consider this hotel.

Of all the negative comments on here and the auto-management response - nothing has changed. Benefit of doubt certainly didn't work here We have a non-soundproof room from Neighbour's loving furtinure to construction outside Arranged a 530am pick up with reception only to find out it was booked for 6am. Which part of 5-3-0 is there a 6 Tip for hotel- upskill and do things properly Tip for travellers- stay elsewhere

I sincerely recommend going to the spa during your stay at this hotel. It is beautiful, especially the hamam where lights give you the impression to be under the stars. Furthermore, a window in the sauna and a sitting area as well as a jacuzzi outside, give you the opportunity to admire the lagoon and eventually the sunset. An ideal way to relax.

My wife and I have just returned from a week at this hotel. Service was outstanding, with a shout out to Aurelie who really went the extra mile and made us feel special on our honeymoon. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet most mornings. Room service was hit and miss, with one dinner being inedible for my wife. I would suggest walking in to the Promenade for better dinner options. Some strict rules around the pool made us feel a bit like we were in school. No snacks at the pool, no drinks with ice cream or cream at the pool, must lay your pool towel on the sunbed before laying down. I'm sure there are reasons for these rules, we just couldn't figure them out! Location great, free water sports equipment greatly appreciated, good cocktails, clean and beautiful beach. Everything you need for a beachside getaway.

Stayed with a group for a long weekend. The hotel is in a fabulous position right on the beach but walking distance to town .We stayed in a superior room overlooking the lagoon. The bed was very comfortable and room quite modern and clean. Breakfast buffet was plentiful with plenty of variety. Staff were very friendly and very helpful with organising our group. We thoroughly enjoyed our degustation dinner in L'Hippocampe .

My husband and I recently stayed at Le Meridien. We were upgraded to a superior room which had the best bed I have slept in for some time and everything was modern and up-to-the minute. Our balcony overlooked the beautiful gardens below. The food in the restaurants was both delicious and generous, the buffet breakfast was amazing and the staff very helpful. It is a delight to speak French without having to travel to France. I would definitely stay here again.

On my business trip, i had the chance to stay at le Méridien, the location is ideal, there is a Casino near the hotel, and a nice hiking path with the Oen toro national park. My room was perfect, modern design, mattress was so comfortable, and everything was very clean. Great personnel, good restaurants with a perfect japanese teppanyaki. I highly recommend this hotel

Stunning views from balcony, great staff, beautiful room. New Years Eve fantastic oh and the day spa wonderful ! I would love to visit again. Very French without going to France! A romantic hotel to stay

Arriving at the hotel we upgraded to a bigger room which was ideal. The manager Louise was extremely helpful. the next day we were looked after very well by the concierge Anne who told us what to do and then arranged a jet ski tour for the last day there. The Jet Ski tour was a highlight of the trip and well worth the money

We stayed at this property for two nights as a family. Both times it was just an afternoon/ evening stay so we didn't get to experience a full day at the resort. The pool is a good size but unheated so its very cold! The food by the pool is good for families but there is an issue if you want to have an early dinner as your only option is room service. Despite being told we have a family member who can't have dairy there was no non dairy spread at breakfast or for dinner. Rooms are lovely and spacious. Bed was comfortable and we couldn't really hear much noise from our neighbours.
