It is a lovely hotel with great collection of antique stuff and living in the cave suite was a unique experience. You can see the balloons in the morning from the terrace as it has a great view of the valley. The rooms were clean and breakfast was great. There are lots of stairs and if you don't like to go up and down, this may not be for you. The staff is friendly with lots of information provided to go around the place. The location is superb as it is next to Pigeon valley and you must walk in it at night. Also Uchisar castle is 10 minute walk. To go anywhere else, you will need a car. Not so great things - the drains and bathroom smell at times and they should do something about it. You can only take the hotel taxi, water is chargeable (only 2 bottles per day free) and we were not told about it. Not a big deal as water is cheap but Cappadocia is a dry place and people need water and there is no market around the hotel to buy. Such practices are not in line with providing great customer experience. I also found hiring a car directly from the hotel to be veey expensive. Otherwise hotel is very good.

Everyone was very kind and welcoming at the Selfie Cave hotel. The rooms were spacious and nice. The view is nice and all the activities were easy pick-up. The hotel provided reminder calls. Breakfast was good and simple. Dinner was also simple, but good. Cutest dog ever greets you at reception.
