Cozy and cute hotel

I had to pay extra for a a room change because it was not clearly stated that I ha de apparently booked a two single beds room instead of one queen sized. After that the experience was great. Breakfast was nice but not outstanding.

What an experience.

If you book this room, contact Cemile via e-mail. She did a tremendous job for us in giving our options during our visit and arranging everything we wanted. Tours and transfers were all on time and on price agreed and no one requested added tips. We felt completely safe on our 4-day visit, and tourism, the lifeblood of this area, is suffering.

We had a fantastic experience staying at a junior suite. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic and location very central. Keep in mind that the cave room is literally a cave, so it has very little, if any windows and feels like a cave. The only downside of the hotel is a seemingly limited WiFi - while download speeds were decent, pretty much impossible to upload any items, such as pictures, at a decent speed.

A good value

El Nazar exceeded our expectations. The location is very convenient, and the hotel went out of its way to provide excellent and plentiful breakfasts, which we enjoyed on the terrace. Our room was very comfortable. We especially appreciated the relaxed atmosphere: we arrived after an all night bus, but the hotel immediately gave us our room, way before check in, as well as a free breakfast as a welcome. Jemilah, the receptionist, helped us with logistics and provided good advice and an always cheerful demeanor.

Great Time

Upon arrival at El Nazar there was a little snafoo. The hotel had promised us a pick-up, but had forgotten to coordinate it. Nevertheless, they more than made up for it by the end! We would definitely stay here again given its central location, beautiful terrace, comfortable room and friendly staff.

The hotel was nice on inside and the area was great. The room wasn't the same as what was pictured on the website. The hotel isn't inside a cave either. The staff weren't very helpful and the bathtub in our room didn't work.

Beautiful Suite

Stayed in a gorgeous 3-room / 2-floor suite. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was wonderful, fantastic bathroom, mostly carved from rock, which provided the only downside of the room - the soft rock of the area meant that little bits were constantly turning into sand on the floor, but the provided slippers alleviated any discomfort from that.

Cave hotel close to the center of town

Arrived late night due to a delayed flight but the manager Ilyas had pre-arranged transport for us so we weren't stuck at the airport and was waiting for us at reception at midnight when we arrived. Room was a good size and as pictured, with a spacious attached bathroom. Clean, heated and comfortable - was especially thankful for heating since it was freezing the first few nights we were there! Breakfast spread was good and we were always offered a choice of omelette; and the view over the city was pretty good and you could actually see the balloons up in the sky while having breakfast! It was an easy walk down to the city, probably about 5 minutes to the Main Street that ran through town. Location was great, really close by the bus station and restaurants. Ilyas was also a wealth of information and helped us arrange our balloon tours and connecting tickets to Olympos and was ever ready to give advice with regards to directions, places to eat and things to do. It's a nice enough hotel, but it's Ilyas and the staff that make the place all that it is.

Great Location, Nice Facilities

We found this hotel after a lot of internet research, and it more than lived up to our expectations. Standard room was very comfortable and roomy, with large king-size bed. Free parking right behind hotel. Sumptuous terrace breakfast with lovely view of earth formations all around. Manager Ilyas and the receptionist were very friendly, though we suspect the housekeeping staff may have stolen some of our shopping (hence the 4 stars instead of 5). Our fault - we shouldn't have left stuff in the room after checking out. But when we came back for it five minutes later, housekeeping was already there and refused to admit we had left anything. So an otherwise very pleasant stay ended on a sour note.

Nice cave hotel with sceneric restuarant view

We stayed at El nazar for couple days. The location is very close to Bus station (around 5minutes walk). We arrived there in early morning, the hotel promises to pick up, but they didn't show up. Our room is easy to access from outside. Free room upgrade for King size bed, big room and jacuzzi. There's some dust on the cabinets but overall is ok. Roof restaurant also has sceneric view of cappadocia.

The hotel concierge took care of everything.

The hotel had lovely views of the area. Ilyas, the hotel concierge, was very warm and welcoming. He took care of all our needs, from the airport transfer, the green tour, the hot air balloon, and gave ideas on what to do. The breakfast each morning was excellent and varied. The room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Great Hotel with Beautiful Cave Rooms.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially their staff named Ilyas. He was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. He arranged our airport transfer to and from and also our tour. The room was fantastic and beautiful. Location is also convenient.

One of the best traveling experiences

Our family really enjoyed and loved our stay at El Nazar! We booked all the actives in the Cappadocia/Goreme area through the hotel and loved every piece of it. The host arranged all airport shuttles and was more than just friendly. Breakfast was wonderful, and all the staff were very helpful and hospitalitic. The hotel is in a great location, close to the main street of Goreme, and at the same time you can see from the top at the restaurant. The rooms are built in caves and renovated. Overall, great place to stay with the best price!

Great host and breakfast

I was deeply impressed with the flexible check-in timings offered by the manager, and having gone out of the way to accommodate us when we feedback the room that was allocated to us initially was too cold. Being sensitive to diary products, the breakfast spread was such a welcoming sight, as it was a mix of local and international dishes.
