Felsener Hytte - Luxury Cottage with hottub and sauna

Summary:

Felsener hytte is a brand-new spacious 10 guest cabin in Nesfjellet, Norway. The hytte is situated in Nesfjellet Vest, close to the ski slopes, with mountain views, a wood fired hot tub and a cosy fireplace. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with sauna), and a fully equipped kitchen for long dinners together. A secluded, family friendly base for skiing in winter and hiking, biking or golf in summer.



The Space:

Felsener Hytte is a spacious and comfortable holiday home for up to 10 guests, set against the mountains of Nesfjellet near Nesbyen. The cabin has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which includes a private sauna.



The living room centers around an open fireplace, the cosy gathering point for the group/family after a day outdoors. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, induction hob and dishwasher, and the long dining table seats up to 10 guests, or can be adjusted for a smaller group.



Two bedrooms have comfortable king size beds (180x200), one on the ground floor and one upstairs. The remaining bedrooms have sturdy bunk beds with the same high quality mattresses throughout, 150x200 on the bottom bunk and 90x200 on top, well suited to both children and adults.



Outside, a wood fired hot tub seats up to six people and is a highlight in every season. There is also a cosy fire pit beside the house, with seating stones around it for evenings under the stars. The spacious veranda offers panoramic mountain views, and on clear winter nights there is a real chance of seeing the northern lights. Free wifi is available throughout the property.

The Neighborhood:

Felsener Hytte is located in Nesfjellet, part of Nesbyen, in a family friendly ski area with 15.9 km of slopes served by 6 lifts, and reliable snow from December through April. The property is just a 4 minute drive from Nesfjellet Alpin and the golf course, both offering activities year round. In summer, the area also offers excellent mountain biking trails, beautiful hiking routes, and swimming in mountain lakes or a lake across the valley. The favorable local microclimate often means good summer weather. The village of Nesbyen, with a shopping center, a Rema 1000 and a Spar supermarket, cafés and restaurants, is about a 15 minute drive away.



Please note that Nesfjellet is a growing area, and some construction of new chalets may be ongoing nearby in the coming years.



Getting Around:

The property is privately situated with its own parking, including an EV charging point. It is just a 4 minute drive to Nesfjellet Alpin and the golf course. Nesbyen has a train station with daily connections to Oslo (around 2.5 to 3 hours) and Bergen (around 4.5 hours), from where it is about a 15 minute drive up to Nesfjellet. A car is recommended to explore the surrounding slopes, trails and villages, as the cabin is set in a quiet, secluded location.
