We loved our large spacious room (#1). Really comfortable beds and such a clean hotel. Three of our favourite things about this hotel were: 1. The location, 2. The amazing breakfast, 3. The awesome terrace/patio for all guests to enjoy. What a beautiful view! We would definitely book here again.

What a lovely spot. Our room was clean, bed comfortable, and a wonderful view from the balcony. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck out by the pool. breakfast was outstanding- lots of choices, fresh fruits, breads, meat and cheeses and yogurts. Custom made breakfast omelettes. Our hosts Mercedes and her husband were very helpful and pleasant.

This is an amazing place to stay. From the minute you arrive you are made so welcome. The Rolms are amazing spacious with stunning views. The breakfast room is stunning with fresh meats chesses and tapas. You can have fried eggs omelette and bacon . Fresh fruits yogurts and freshly squeezed orange juice. A great little find

The hotel was spotlessly clean with an outstanding breakfast each morning. A lot of the food was homemade, which made it delicious. We spent the afternoons lounging around the pool area, as the weather was great & a little sun trap.

We had an excellent stay at Hostal Casa Mercedes. Thank you to the team there. We arrived on a late flight after reception closed, but were given access code to enter property and key was left in our room. It was all communicated in advance and worked without any problems. The room (junior suite) was spacious with large comfortable bed, double shower cubicle and balcony with direct view to sea. Breakfast was lovely and had a great selection. Excellent value for money.

You know the kind of place that you stay and then decide never to try another place because it is so perfect? That was the Hospedería Casa De Cisneros. We enjoyed the Panoramic double room (Cardinal Cisneros), and the experience was indeed panoramic and magical. You are staying in a piece of history and still the room had the right modern touches to make it comfortable. The cathedral is right next door but don’t worry it is very quiet area at night for sleeping. The roof top terrace is not to be missed, especially at night. Seeing the panorama of the Cathedral, the Alcazar and the city lit up was beyond description. Thankfully our host, Alphonso’s English was great, as our Spanish is not and he made sure everything was perfect. Arranging transport, recommending restaurants (Abadia!), making our coffee just right at breakfast…etc. Most people do day trips to Toledo, but we stayed a couple of nights and enjoyed the extra time to see extraordinary history preserved in the city.

We had a wonderful two night stay here. The room was perfect for us . The breakfast was great, fresh and plentiful. Lovely staff. A steep walk up the hill from burinana beach. Easy for us but could be more difficult for others. There is a bus so it’s easily sorted. Great stay and will be back.

Excellent value. A little gem in quiet area.

Fabulous B and B close to Burriahna beach and a 10 minute walk to town. We loved the view from our patio. Breakfast was amazing - so much choice and attention to detail. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. The bed was huge and very comfy. The pool and terrace area was lovely too. We didn't have a car but found everything to be in easy walking distance - bus station was only 10 minutes walk. Would definitely recommend this little gem.

Gorgeous little hotel with the personal touch. I had a spacious room with a large terrace that had incredible views over the bay. The breakfast was great and the hotel is quiet. Highly recommend.

We can't recommend Casa Mercedes enough. We stayed in the mini suite and the room was light, well designed and very comfortable. As with the other reviews, we found the breakfast amazing! It's a family run hotel and it shows, everything is well organised, the staff are very friendly and the immaculately clean. It's well positioned and a very short walk to the beach and local restaurants. If you're planning a holiday to Nerja this is the place you should stay.

Couple in June

Fabulous hotel a short walk from the beach and the centre. We stayed for a week in their smallest room and we were more than happy. Breakfast is delicious the sun terrace has plenty of chairs the pool is clean and most times we had the sun terrace / pool area to ourselves as most guests head to the beach. Perfect Hostal - we will return. The Gastro Tapas Mo’s is about 200 yards away and is exceptional . Towels are provided for the beach and pool areas too.

We were so happy with Casa de Mercedes! The management, services, cleaning, general ambiance and wonderful breakfast were all excellent. The room, bathroom and patio areas are large and comfortable. We had views of the city, the mountains and the sea from our patio, and the walk down to the sea is short. Would love to return! Highly recommended!
