Nice reception from very helpful owner! Convenient location for visiting Nelson with large carpark. Our room was on the short side of the „L“ of buildings so we were along the road which had the occasional motorcycle or truck rumbling close by but units are along a field and I imagine much quieter. Good sized unit with fair sized kitchen and good hot shower.

The property was great, laundry available, cooking facilities in room. Large room, Big windows, friendly owner who was very helpful, kind and witty. Really comfy room and bed. Serviced daily. Plenty of parking. Very Close to township to walk and explore. Lovely big park next door for picnic. It was a really happy stay and quite even though its on a busy road. Book through the owner as he is lovely to talk to and it will ensure all money goes to his family. We loved it.

Needs an update

Staff were excellent and the room was clean, but the room could have been rented out as a sweat lodge. The property is tired and outdated. No A/C and our room was roasting with only a fan to cool it. We pulled the curtains shut when we left because the sun was beating in but when we returned the room was hot. We tried to get a through draft by opening the hall door and the front door but that did little other than make us feel as though we were in a fish bowl exposed to the world. The chairs were also really uncomfortable and the kitchen looks like it came from the 1950s. A serious renovation is needed.
