This is an older hotel with tons of character. Small basic rooms, gorgeous view, open air windows with wonderful sea breezes. No AC needed. The staff was helpful and friendly. The restaurant had a basic breakfast included, but their lunches and dinners were outstanding. John (Joao) was fantastic as our waiter. We loved our stay at Ribamar!

Would have liked it if there was ac or fan in the room so you could close the window to drown out the constant noise of cars scooters and people talking and screaming. The hotel is in the path of people walking home from a club. Very noisy until 4 am. When it is hot you cannot close the window and there is no window coverings to block out the bright street lights. Do not stay unless you are able to sleep through all of these issues.

Vu sur la mer d'une petite fenêtre sans rideau, petite chambre sans rangement, vielle chaise inconfortable pas très solide, vieux lit. Toilette et douche microscopique. La chambre au-dessus de nous était en rénovation durant notre séjour, forte odeur... Dommage car la localisation est exceptionnelle.

Outstanding view but everything else was "meh". Small uncomfotable beds and bathroom way too small and outdared. Had to check in early because staff "wanted to leave by 5" lame breakfast. No elevator and overall smelled of mold. The plus side...the view! Great location....staff nice but mostly unavailable

The room was dirty with rubbish from other visitors on the floor and dust bunnies on the floor. The room was not ready on our arrival and the bed sheets did fit the bed, slipping off.

Was really interesting staying here. Great looking building from the outside but the inside hasn't been upgraded/renovated in quite some time...40 years maybe!? Great location and the staff were super friendly.

The shower is unbelievably small & so outdated. The toilet is also really snug in the bathroom & overall needs a lot of updating. There’s tons of noise that comes from the street, no matter if the window is shut or not. Reception was good and welcoming but otherwise probably wouldn’t stay there again.

The staff was excellent.. The man at the reception desk during the day was great and humorous. He was very friendly and helpful. The room 111 was facing the beach with a deck.. the room was great but from the old era, we loved it!! It was close to everything..We recommend it.
