A 20-litre water tank is heated by the stove while the sauna warms up. Warm water is used for washing in traditional wash basins, while the steam creates a relaxing and authentic atmosphere.
The sauna stands directly beside the lake, making it easy to enjoy a refreshing swim before returning to the warmth.
Tip: Bring some hot water back to the cabin after your sauna session for washing dishes.

My friend and I had a fantastic time there.
Everything was as we had imagined it: quiet, simple and natural.
Lena is an incredibly warm and uncomplicated host who was always helpful and impressed us with her knowledge of nature.
The isolation and peace on a private lake, with just ourselves and nature, meant that we were able to completely forget about everyday life and focus on what is important in life.
We stayed there for two weeks in March. The place is perfect to slow down and connect with the nature. It’s surrounded by beautiful nature and has a rustic charme. Our host was very helpful with any matters we had and super friendly. We’ll most certainly return. We’re very glad, we’ve found this place. Thanks for all!
Göte stuga is a wonderful place, where nature surround You from everywhere.Beautiful wild landscape ,cozy cabin, very friendly and helpful host…Everything gives You feeling how people can live in the past in the harmony with the nature .Just amazing experience!!!
Me and my girlfriend were on the Kungsleden and were looking for a quiet place to regain strength.
I found the dreamlike cabine by the lake in Nattaavaara quickly on the internet.
Once there, we were able to relax and regain our strength with sauna and fishing opportunities.
The service of the hosts, as well as the friendliness were just great. They took so good care of us and showed us a old swedish tradition. Everyone who is looking for peace and quiet has come to the right place there.
Thanks for the good service.
Greetings from Germany
