Made a booking and advised I would be arriving on the late bus at 11pm. I received no response from the owners. When I arrived the place was in darkness, no one answered the door. Luckily the hostal next door was open and had one available room otherwise I would have had nowhere to sleep.The next morning there were guests who had arrived, knocking on the door to no avail. Obviously the owners do not care about their paying guests. An appalling way to run a business. Book here at your peril! You could be spending the night on the street.

A good option if you're looking for a cheaper, simpler place to stay. The hostel provided a sacked breakfast for us, as we had to leave before the breakfast time, which was nice.

Really wonderful place. Best place in Chile so far

We actually got upgraded for no cost to their second location. It was immaculate. All remodeled probably in the last year or less. Super clean. Very comfortable. As budget backpackers it almost felt too nice. They treated us well and even packed a breakfast for us since we'd miss their breakfast to make an early bus. If we get the chance at the end of our trip we'll definitely stay here again. Best hostel/hotel in Chile yet!

Everything you need for a self-catering stay!

We had a good stay but please in aware if you book an apartment it is not in the hostel but a short walk away in a complex where the owners of the hostel live.It's in a quite a residential area but it is close to the bus station. Breakfast is provided but you have to go to the hostel to have it. Note: payment is in cash USD. The accommodation itself is basic but very clean with everything you need for a self catering stay. There is Unimarc supermarket not too far away. The real big plus is the owner herself, Sandra, who can be contacted about anything via WhatsApp and was extremely helpful. Also the heating was excellent which is needed even in mid-summer in Patigonia!

Super hosts, helpful friendly and personal service

The stand out for us was how lovely our hosts were. Run by a really nice family, they were all very helpful, chatty and friendly, including booking us a tour to Torres del Pines and taxis when needed. They provided a simple breakfast which came as part of the booking; as well, they provided an excellent packed lunch, with a lovely note wishing us a good day, instead of breakfast, because we had to leave very early for the tour. That was a very nice touch! Our room (not the one pictured) was the least best room, whilst super clean and comfortable single beds, there was no outside window, (A borrowed light window in the landing used regularly by other guests ) and was cramped and lacked privacy. Another guest (suddenly) and accidentally walked into our room thinking it was there’s which wasn’t pleasant! However, we could see that the other rooms were nicer, and brighter.

Didn't actually stay here. When I arrived I was told there were not rooms for me. I was given a room at Casa Lucy (5/5) for the same price. That solved my issue, but I researched and chose this place and reserved it two months ahead of time, so they should have kept my room.
