The best beach in the word and the infinity pool are so great, clean and beautiful spacious rooms. The food is also great, everything about this property is almost perfect. I stay here a few nights just to enjoy the serene stay and fly out with the feeling of total of my trip. Thank you IC, I will be back again someday in the future.
We stayed in a beachfront room (we upgraded at check-in for a low fee) and are so glad we chose this room. We were a few steps away from the adults only pool, the beach, and the heart of the resort. The room was comfortable and the Pure Fiji products are amazing. We thought the food was average and pricey, although we were not surprised as this is written in many reviews. Service around food was slow and could be improved (for example, they would bring us the food we ordered but not utensils to eat it with, or the extra sauces we ordered).
value is low for what you pay. Nice property overall, just overpriced for whats it is .
Property has many onsite activities including scuba diving and surfing. And there is a shuttle running every half hour to the nearby (5 min. drive) Natadola Golf Club.
My hubby and I stayed at the Intercontinental for our Honeymoon. I had done a lot of research and chose this hotel because it was on Natadola Bay which was rated one of top 10 beaches in the world. Additionally, I had read great reviews of the property, dining and facilities. We wanted a relaxing and romantic destination for the first days of our trip to Fiji. Pros - 1. Facilities - the ground are beautiful and serene. The gym is nice and spa is great. 2. Room - The room was great with a beautiful ocean view, a great jacuzzi on patio and great size suite. 3. Check in and staff- We had a very early flight the check in process was seamless. The front desk agent and our bellman Raymond were wonderful. Great first impression of the resort and our stay ahead. They tried their best to check is in early so while we waited we enjoyed the wonderful adults only pool area and started our holiday. 4. Food - I have a gluten allergy and all Chefs from each venue were super accommodating and walked me through all my options daily. Fijian food is about 95% GF so it was great. If there was something in particular that I was craving they would do their best to accommodate my requests. On the other hand, as a con, I would say food options can seem a bit limited not to mention pricey if you are there for more than 4-5 days. Cons 1. While staff is super friendly and welcoming occasionally, they are slow with orders or inaccurate. We had to ask for things several times.
Great hotel... except for the food. Avoid the restaurants and room service.
BULA ! And Welcome Home! was how we were greeted. My family had a magical experience at The Intercon Fiji. To start out with, the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay magnificent in all areas. The staff is genuine, caring and will do anything to please you. We were fortunate to get to know Hiram, the manager, Paula, Eronnie, Waisake, Josephine, Ratu, Litania, Ole, Ilyas the chef and the executive chef just to name a few. Sorry to leave out some folks. The resort is immaculately clean. The beach was breathtaking. The water was crystal clear, great for swimming, kayaking, surfing and paddle boarding. The adult pool has an infinity pool which looks onto the ocean. Gorgeous ! Definitely spend the money and upgrade to a club room. We had an ocean view room and it was Hugh! Breakfast, high Tea, and evening cocktails and appetizers are included. Also included is Fiji water, coffee, tea and soft drinks. The food is always amazingly presented and different every day. We really enjoyed the traditional nightly Fijian Lali Drum show, fire lighting ceremony, and singers. We visited the Malomalo Primary School & everyone must do this excursion! We were so humbled by these adorable children and their amazing teachers. Staff from the intercon help support and fund this school. We brought stickers for the children and they were so appreciative. We visited the nearby village of Sanasana and saw how the local Fijians live. They are such warm and happy people. We were very sad to leave
The staff at the hotel is wonderful! They made out trip. Our room was kept very well and very clean.
It was a positive surprise! The hotel is in a perfect location, beach with white sand, golf course just around the corner. Restaurants are also very good, we had a romantic dinner in a private room that was delicious! The staff is also very nice but you have to get use to the "Fiji time" service..... It was nice to have separate pools for adults only (family with kids have another swimming pool just as good). We also enjoyed Happy hour at the lounge with live music and DJ after dinner. We just thought that they could explore more of the shoreline at night, it could use some lightning. We had a really nice time there!
first class accommodations on gorgeous beach. the entire development was laid out well and amenities terrific. we travel to a lot of nice places world wide, but this was breath-taking. Plenty of staff to service any need. PROS: pools, room, location and view, good dining options, great beach, perfect lay back and relax location CONS: not near anything (didn't need to be), as a new hotel we learned about features they had after time there... no great tour or summary of available things TO DO ON SITE: snorkel, dive, watersports, volleyball, kids club, spa, horseback riding, concierge service, car rental, fine dining, nightly entertainment MUSTS: 1. upgrade to king suite beach front room, 2. island tour aboard Seaspray (port denerau) 3. jet ski safari (port denerau) ***will definitely return
The hotel was in great shape with first class accomidations. I attended a wedding on the beach with dinnerand a beautiful sunset.
