Beautiful hotel, spotless. Really nice onsen. Average food that was way overpriced for what you get. Breakfast was better than dinner. The room was spacious but the shower was very small. Nice bed.

Excellent hotel for Western visitors.

I wish I could stay in this hotel every night of my trip to Japan. Rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. Bed was comfortable and the amenities were spectacular. Dinner buffet was delicious. Short 10 minute walk to the train station.

This was a modern property with everything and more we needed. The onsite restaurant is expensive but there are other options around. Know that if you only have a JR pass and come in at JR Nara it's a 3.5km walk to the hotel - doable in nice weather and because its flat or get on a bus! We loved the new, clean features and the practical laundry was great for travellers.

Loved our stay in Novotel Nara. Probably the nicest Novotel I’ve been too. The public hot baths and relaxation space was amazing. The hotel is really new and modern, beautiful views from the rooftop terrace and executive lounge. We stayed two nights in Nara at two different properties. I wish we’d spent two nights here. It’s not walking distance to Nara park but only one train stop away.

Amazing luxury hotel

Every thing was luxurious here. Room was large and comfortable. Shower has perfect temperature and the rain shower head is so good. Amenities include glass bottles of mineral water and coffee and pajamas. It’s a block from the bus stop that takes you straight to Nara. Would definitely stay here again if I plan on going to feed the deers.

Excellent choice to stay

Excellent service, best hotel on our two week trip in Japan (Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto & Nara). Best breakfast too and buffet type dinner was superb. Nice extra was those two (free!) massage chairs. Room was nice, rather large and quiet and bathroom was clean.
