Kids were so excited to see the deer from our room window. Crisp clean and very spacious room. Friendly and polite staffs. 5min walk to Nara park. Highly recommend

Great traditional room, superbly laid out, natural materials, v cosy n great views. Food so yummy
It’s a long walk from the train & bus station - nevertheless it’s a hidden gem located on a slope. If you are traveling with a big luggage, good luck to you!
The bedroom is relatively small, like most boutique hotels in Japan. I love the cafe very much - state-of-the-art interior design with alfresco outdoor seating - extremely cool spot to chill over a cup of coffee on a sunny morning! The young and bubbly service staff is a big plus to this hotel.
We loved our stay here, a beautiful quiet hotel sat on the outskirts of the town with deer on the grassy slopes around the patio. Very clean and tidy interior, lovely staff and comfortable quiet room.
We were able to walk everywhere from the hotel, the main deer park is easily accessible and we walked to and from the station with a wheeled suitcase through the alleyways without too much issue. Would definitely return here.
The staff were very helpful and greeted my family with open arms. I asked for a room upgrade but they reassured I booked the best room. The superior suite was our favorite stay in Japan. We will definitely come back to this establishment.
This is a lovely hotel in a fantastic location but it needs a little sprucing up. When we stayed here last year it was cleaner and had less scuffed paint. The terrace is beautiful. We didn’t have time for the breakfast the first day but when we tried to reserve a breakfast for the next morning I was told it was sold out. Lesson learned! Book ahead.
Food a little questionable. Nothing unsafe butnot hot ever. More likewarm for somevreason. Also gave us meaal selections we didntbwantbsaying it was ourvrequest. Didnt make them.
This type of design hotel that is well located and has only essential facilities for people who want to explore outside the hotel, is my favourite type of hotel. The dining area looks great and has a calming view to deer running around. There was a problem with the AC when we stayed with a slightly off smell, that had been fixed the next day, but the drinks were good and staff very nice.
Great location, staff were friendly, big spacious room. Western breakfast is not a western breakfast. When we found out what the breakfast was we tried to cancel the day before however we weren’t able to.
Pumpkin soup and bread roll, cabbage and some broccoli is not a western breakfast.

Just go to the terrace, enjoy your drink while free deers are calmly go around - a perfect day.
Great property, gorgeous and spacious room, near the Nara Park, walking distance from Tyson station . Near the shopping street with many dining options. And deer are almost at door step.
This was by far our most favourite place to stay. We had the green hills with deer on them as our view. Space between our bed and daughters. Beautiful lay out. Amazing staff. Very good shower. Extremely comfortable sleep. I enjoyed a beer and some cake on the cafe terrace and was transformed to another peaceful world. Just can not recommend this place more.
The hotel lobby and dining area are quite nice and the staff are very polite and helpful. The bedroom was a little cramped, but typical for this price range in Japan. The bed was comfortable and the design very nice. However, I was disappointed with the room cleanliness as the vents in the bathroom were clogged with what looked like a large build up of dust or possibly mould, and there was a large build up of dust on the carpet in the corners. Accessing the hotel is also a bit weird as you have to go down a narrow road that looks like the entrance to a parking lot. I was hoping to be able to walk out into the park facing the hotel but it’s blocked by fences.
We booked a one night stay for our short trip to Nara. I wish I knew how beautiful this hotel was, I would’ve stayed one more night. The room is well decorated, simple and elegant. It has a sound system that connected to a iPod with music, but I plugged it into my iPhone (lightning port) to play nature music off YouTube. It was rare to find such a spacious room in Japan. The view from the window was everything you’d imagine of Nara: a small pond with deer hanging out on the side. I could stay in this room and relax all day. I would not think twice to book this hotel again when I return to Nara.
