Overall, the house and the neighborhood were very nice. The community is gated, giving you a sense of security about your belongs, taking walks around the neighborhood, etc.
Unfortunately, we picked the rainiest month in FL (i.e., June) for our vacation but, nonetheless, the owners were very accommodating, with the property manager even dropping off two umbrellas for our use during our stay.
The house was well stocked, with more than adequate kitchen supplies, towels, toiletries, beach towels, beach umbrellas, and six beach chairs, all of which we used multiple times as we traveled extensively "chasing the sun" during our stay. But, despite traveling to Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Clearwater, Tampa Bay, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Marco Island, and the Everglades, our favorite place was only ten minutes from the house - Lowdermilk Beach. The sand was a fine white, the water was clear and warm, and it was not crowded or loud. If it had not rained so much in Naples during our stay, we probably would have gone there every day at least for a few hours it was so nice.
We enjoyed the private pool and hot, especially our two children (aged 22 and 20). We never had time to try out the larger community pool.
We very much enjoyed our stay but are unsure if we would stay again. While the per night rental charge seemed reasonable given the house, amenties, neighborhood, etc., the add-ons (i.e., various fees and taxes) were high, increasing our daily rental cost significantly, putting it on the high side for our usual vacations. But, that does not detract from the fact that the property was beautiful and was listed accurately. It's just that we felt that we could have gotten other properties in the general area for less that would have still satisfied our needs. But, despite this fact, if you are looking for a clean, beautiful place to stay that is safe and in a nice location, we don't think you'd be disappointed. That is why we rated it a 5 across the board.
