Newer Upscale Home with Htd Pool & Spa - Bike or Walk to Beaches and Restaurants
Please note there are two stairs into the house thru the garage and the front and back of the property. Therefore it is not handicap accessible. During this period of Covid 19 it is important for you to know when the new A/C was installed I also put in the Halo-LED in duct whole house air purification to eliminate VOC's and reduce both airborne and surface microbials. Family-friendly activities, nightlife, fine dining at the upscale Mercato outdoor entertainment mall and the Ritz Carlton with its nightly entertainment along with beachfront restaurants are within walking distance. 14 ft backlit tray ceilings, upscale kitchen with large breakfast bar, heated (85 degrees) caged pool w/spa & tiled patio surround w/outdoor shower next to granite half bath poolside. Just upgraded the pool to a salt water system meaning no more chlorine smell and faded maybe even ruined bathing suits! Please note due to the depth of the pool and the rapidity of the depth increase to over five feet I don't allow children under six on the property without my written permission. There is a pool alarm that activates when the back sliders are open but it is often unplugged by guests. It is somewhat loud so it can be heard well. Please verify it is plugged in if you are going to have children in the house that are not good swimmers. The unit is at the back of the primary bedroom closet. Being on the closest block to Vanderbuilt Drive you will be a 1/2 block from Five million dollar homes situated on channel fronts that lead to the Gulf. One of my favorite things to do is ride or walk up and down the many waterfront streets and admire the custom mansions. Enjoy Naples only beachfront dining at the Ritz Carlton and Turtles just a short 15-20 min. stroll away or 5 minute drive and take advantage of their free valet parking. Make your reservations at Turtles or La Playa Hotel (3rd beachfront restaurant) as soon as you know your dates in Naples (Gumbo Limbo at the Ritz doesn't take reservations which is not a problem as you can hang out by the beach while you wait).
The furnishings and electronics are first class. You will be amazed by the internet speeds of 400MBPS down and 10MBPS up. TV's in every room including a 75" 4k Samsung TV w/surround sound and DVD in great room, 60" 4k with surround sound in M/B, 2nd split master has 50" 4k and 43" by pool in lanai (also external speakers with in-room volume controls for music to most areas). Comcast speaking remotes with DVR. You will be staying in a home I intend to retire to in several years. Every convenience will be provided right down to 6 tennis rackets (4 adult & 2 junior size ) along with balls to enjoy at the nearby lighted clay courts owned by 4 local pros. Also provided for your use are two new Callaway golf clubs sets (men and women's) available with balls so you don't have to drag your own on the plane and pay the extra luggage fee. You will be paying a discounted rent to be in the middle of the 500 block in this part of Naples although I paid a location premium when I purchased it and decorated it several years ago. If you knew the area like I do you wouldn't want to be any further east. If you decided on a different property make sure you understand the blocks in this part of Naples are each over 25 houses long going east to west but just 2 or 3 going north/south. When you get into the 600, 700 or 800 blocks east of Vanderbuilt Drive you are much further from the beach. The further east you are the quicker the price drops in rent but so might the quality of the neighborhood. When you decide to turn off the lights and wind down you won't hear anything. The custom pool lighting that you decide on will set your mood each night while in the house or when seated outside. When you book a home in this popular part of Naples make sure to understand the difference between a newer home and one built before 2012. You're getting 14' ceiling heights with mood lighted cove molding and tray ceilings. I don't sleep on cheap sheets and neither will you. Bugs are not usually a problem in this part of Naples. However, the pool cage gives the added security of being able to open up the full wall of pocket sliders in the great room which is like removing the wall thus opening the great room to the outside . Please remember though that if it is humid out and you open up the wall of sliders to the outside that the air conditioning system can freeze up and then you'll be without air for the night until it thaws and you might also be requiring a service call. Be sure to keep the slider no wider than the width needed to pass thru easily when it is hot or humid out. The pool area is graced with a beautiful white travertine marble table with seating for six on comfortable wrought iron chairs with cushions. Please note the coasters and place mats must be used religiously in order to prevent permanent stains. Table top was refinished recently and unfortunately there are rings. The great room seating includes a high end camel leather sectional. The view of the landscaped pool can also be enjoyed from the solid wood dining room set. Please understand this is not the typical "beach house". Furnishings of this caliber are meant to be enjoyed but you must respect their vulnerability to spilled red wine or other stains. For that reason we have provided stemless lead free crystal glassware. We also prefer the use of our quality plastic goblets and tumblers when in the tiled pool area to avoid the risk of breaking a glass and the resultant shards that can be a challenge to completely vacuum up between the brick tiles. You will enjoy the convenience of the granite half bath in the pool area. The pool/spa area is quite private and to be enjoyed as you see fit. It is maintained on a weekly basis by Eric on Fridays. Cesar the landscaper comes weekly on Fridays. You'll love the outside shower for a quick rinse off when returning from the beach or after a dip in the pool and hot tub. Ceiling fans are in every room including the covered lanai. Please enjoy the condiments, food stuffs, sunscreen and toiletry items, etc. Just replace where needed as you use them so our next guests will have the same benefit but I will usually have extras of most staples. No doubt you can avoid renting a car if you desire and we have had guests do so. There is a trolley during the day that travels all thru Naples departing from the Mercato outdoor mall and Vanderbuilt Beach during daylight hours. I do suggest renting a car though if you want to see everything in the area. To avoid paying airport taxes you might want to uber to the property for around $35-50 dollars then have a scheduled pickup by Enterprise rental cars at the property. Walking or biking to nearby Vanderbilt Beach or Del Wiggins State Park Beach is both scenic and enjoyable. Fort Myers and Bonita Beaches are best reached by car but biking there is possible. The good news is that almost everything you will want is within a mile of the property including a Whole Foods Market. It is safe to walk and bike at night and I do so often but just like anywhere else use common sense and try to stay on the sidewalks. You will be extremely impressed with the biking in Naples. You will be able to stick reasonably close to the Gulf as you follow the roads north or south. Our proximity to the beach provides a refreshing separate microclimate which will be cooler and less likely to have mosquitoes during the hottest months unlike the areas of Naples that are more than a mile from the Gulf. You'll also be walking distance away from those fabulous Gulf sunsets everyone comes to see. You can also walk to the beach with the easy carry folding beach chairs and wheeled cooler or drop everyone by car at the turnaround at the beach then park at the public garage a block away. If on the rare occasion the garage is full drive back to the house then ride a bike five minutes back to the beach. Be sure to visit Delnor Wiggins State Park Beach which was voted 9th Best Beach in the U.S. in 2015. Barefoot State Park Beach which is a quick 15 minute drive was voted 2nd in the same survey. I've been all over Florida for the past forty years. Each area has its favored parts but none compares with the variety and beauty of Naples. Our maid is our neighbor and is only three houses down in case you may need to hire her for an extra service or cleaning. She also watches the house for us and checks it before your arrival. My neighbors Tammy and Dan live in the house next door to the west that was built two years before mine (look similar) are very friendly and Tammy will almost always introduce herself and if you have a quick question try to be of assistance. I have a great handyman in the neighborhood if you ever have a problem that needs to be addressed. John my neighbor across the street is a video specialist and put in the TVs and Sonos sound system. His number is in the house manual and he will be available if you have a problem. Please note that our area of Naples has been undergoing street by street infrastructure improvements which have been ongoing for four years. Five 24Spd Trek Bikes w/lights and racks to get you to two great beaches if you don't want to walk. You will save a bundle not having to rent. Electric bikes can be rented at the Pedago shop in the neighborhood. Be sure to check the lights front and back upon arrival if planning to ride after dark. Charging cables are in draw near the sink. There is an Alexa in the kitchen to tell you the weather and guide you in her usual helpful way.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms, and a balcony or patio. There's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a Smart TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a private pool, a washing machine, and a fenced private yard. Housekeeping is available on request.

Lovely stay in North Naples
A lovely, well-kept property in North Naples. The house featured many extras, such as a full-stocked spice cabinet, sharp knives, beach toys, and a porta-crib. Jim generously offered us the use of bicycles and golf clubs. The location is excellent - close to beaches and North Naples Park neighborhood itself is safe for biking around for exercise. The hot tub was used nearly every night. This home had everything our family group needed to enjoy ourselves.

Great property. Very comfortable. However, the property owner has huge expectations from their renters. Make sure to read each and every word of the huge binder provided provided.

This was a beautiful home. You can tell that the owner takes great pride in his property. The home is well maintained and everything is top of the line. It is located near some multi million dollar homes which are fun to just walk by.. Friendly neighbors really made us feel at home.

Wonderful Vacation
This is a beautiful home that is well maintained and comes with all of the necessities (and then some). You’ll spend more time vacationing and less time shopping!
Beach was close and bikes are provided for your use. Quiet neighborhood, with shopping and restaurants nearby. Owner was very informative and accommodating! We will definitely make a return visit and stay at this same location!

April in Naples
We had a fabulous time staying at this lovely property in Naples Park for 2 full weeks in April. Jim's property has all that you need to enjoy your stay. It was very clean upon arrival and the home is even nicer than it appears in the pictures. We use the beautiful pool and outdoor area every day. All of the amenities enhanced our stay. We loved the bikes - including the electric ones though you can surely walk to the beach and Delnor Wiggins State Park. We had people in our party that were also "working from home" some of the days and the WiFi was excellent. We look forward to returning soon.

Month visit to Vanderbilt Beach
This property was lovely. It has everything a family could need for a prolonged stay as our stay was (4 weeks) in all kinds of weather. As our weather was wonderful we really lived outside the whole time. Beautiful pool; spa which was very appreciated after strenuous golf games; and lovely landscaping which provides a wonderful view as well as privacy. Many other amenities too numerous to list. Can heartily recommend the property.
Thank you James. Very well done.

Great House
We had a great stay with our two small children. We were in Naples with two other families, who each rented similar properties in the same neighborhood. Jim's house is very well equipped and immaculately maintained - much more so than the two properties our friends rented. The pool / backyard setup is perfect. All in all, we were very happy and would book again without hesitation.

Well thought out
The house is as presented in the add. The screened in pool area was a much bigger benefit than I had expected; it created real indoor/outdoor space.
The owner has done a really great job of providing beach chairs, cooler of various sizes, pretty good golf clubs, great bicycles, etc. etc. He is also always available by phone.
The only real negative I have is that the barbecue old and beat up inside, too small, and not powerful enough. We used it almost every night, and it was harder to cook than it should have been.

Perfect Accommodations
Just returned to cold New England after a fabulous two-week stay at Jim's beautiful home. The Vanderbilt Beach area is one of the most desirable spots in Naples and we could not be more pleased with the accommodations and thoughtfulness of the owner. Everything needed for one's stay has been provided and all the extras including 8 bikes, beach necessities, golf and tennis equipment, and an incredible top-of-the-line massage chair, just added to our comfort and enjoyment. We hope to be back again. (For future vacationers not familiar with the area, catch dinner and beach sunsets at the Ritz Carlton's ocean-side Gumbo Limbo restaurant. While they don't take reservations, valet park at the hotel about an hour and a half before sunset to assure seating)

Great experience
This was one of the cleanest, most well-furnished vacation rentals we have stayed in. It’s a beautiful home, in a quiet neighborhood, and an easy 15 minute walk to the beach. The owner was quick to respond to our questions and gave us great recommendations for things to do and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful home at Vanderbilt Beach
I have stayed in many VRBO's and this property is the most well appointed property I've stayed in to date. The house is spacious and beautiful and the pool and spa are so relaxing. This property has everything you need for a day at the beach with plenty of beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, coolers. The bikes are great and you are one mile to Vanderbilt Beach and an easy bike ride to Delano-Wiggins State Park. There are plenty of dishes, pots and pans, utensils, and grill if you decide you want to cook in. Jim is a pleasure to work with and has thought of everything you may need to have pleasant stay and experience. The welcome bottle of wine was a nice treat and much appreciated! If you are looking for a lovely home within walking distance to a beautiful beach with every amenity you can think of, look no further this is the rental for you!

High high quality villa that will Not disappoint!!
We have stayed at a number of villas in Naples Park over the last 15 years, and have seen the redevelopment of many older villas over that time. The local developers continue to try and better what has gone before.
This villa is brand new, less than two years old and is without doubt the best we have stayed in. The high quality build and finishes are obvious the moment you enter the villa and the owners have completed it with the very best quality furnishings.
It is not a home from home it is much much better than that!
There is everything that you need to enjoy a wonderful vacation in the best location Florida has to offer.
Lastly, dealings with the owner were a pleasure,
