Fortunate for us we have stayed here before and know what to expect, but was suprised to find out they were under construction updating rooms and replacing all the balcony railings on the high rise building which we were never notified of such. Open checking in we spoke to the desk manager and voiced our disappointment and he discounted the rate per night, and had placed us in the beach house section, beach front room, needless to say it could have been a negative that turned positive for us. The room was fabulous...there was even a wedding ceremony on th beach right in front of room, we cracked open a Caymus and had a toast for the bride and groom. We had dinner and breakfast at Baleen, excellent as usual, but again no outside dining because of construction, but we didn't care it's too darn hot anyway after soaking up all that sun, the Black Grouper was excellent... For Saturday we were given a gift certificate to use for my wife's birthday and decided to get a cabana by the pool, which turned out great, but again one of the main pools were closed and the pool was jammed by 2 pm, plan to get there early to get your spot, Cabana was well worth it for the space... and shade. All the servers were great always asking if we needed anything, attentive and friendly. We spent two nights and really love to come here feeling away from our surroundings but not going over to Miami and dealing with that crowd over there... its always nice to know it's close and will always be coming back

I will be back for another visit. This was one of the first vacations that I was able to relax. The hotel staff was awesome and they actually seemed to enjoy their jobs. The City of Naples is absolutely beautiful and well kept.

Each and every one of the staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous! We were impressed by how nice, observant, welcoming and assistive they each were.

I really like the stay The hotel service and hospitality was great I love the restaurant and fireplace at the beach I will back to enjoy the experience complete Because we arrive late after sunset

This hotel did not meet our expectations at all. After a long waiting to be accomodated they sent us to another building across the street in the parking structure and they placed us there where they call it the bay view rooms. They explained, that was part of the hotel properties but you are actually out of the resort where you dont have access to any of the hotel amenities unless you go in the street carrying all your summer belonging to go the pool or go back to your room from the beach/pool all wet walking in your swimming suit along the street. We didnt stay at this hotel we left very dissapointed, they still charged us for the room, I would never recommend this hotel, I would suggest the hotel to advice their clients that the resort can only accomodate some guests, the rest will be accomodated in in the parking structure.

The staff at the La Playa make it all so memorable. When you first check in you get a feel for that right away with their gracious hospitality. The rooms overlooking the Gulf and it's panoramic sunsets are indescribable. My wife really liked the wide window views and the patios as well. I wish there was a lighter breakfast menu that allowed more choice. We are not heavy eaters first thing in the morning and lighter fare would have suited us better. But the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and location made this a wonderful visit.

Lovely west coast hotel with gorgeous beach. New Bay view rooms are fabulous - large, with vies of bay and bathrooms you don't want to leave. Every detail is perfect. Travelers should know that there is valet parking ONLY for $25.00 per day (no self-parking) and the resort fee is up to #20.00 per day.

Everything was over our expectation, but the price of parking is so expensive and there's no options to avoid its.

Right on the Beach with terrific sunsets. A great place as long as the weather is good.

The hotel was beautiful and I had a lovely, spacious room. However, I was in the building across the sptreet from the beach and found it annoying to have to cross the street each time I went to enjoy the hotel's amenities.

This resort is relaxing, beautiful, and high quality.

I was so pleasantly surprised with my stay at La Playa, that I'm already looking at dates to head back. What I thought would be an easy and inexpensive getaway offered so much more. The staff was amazing - from the very first valet to open my door, to the waitstaff, and everyone in between; the staff made me feel taken care of. Our room was clean and beautiful, and was kept that way by the wonderful housekeeping staff throughout our stay. The food was good, though limited in choices I'll admit, everything we had was tasty. We had a rental car and ventured out to grab a bite on our own a few times without issue and when we asked the front desk to help with a good pizza delivery option they were happy to assist. All that to say, it was the four pools and beach that made La Playa the perfect place to relax. You could call ahead to reserve your chairs for the day or walk down to have staff set you up. They have it down to a science. Wait staff was always walking by in case you needed anything. The pools and beach were just what we needed. The only, and this is pretty minor, downside for me was the spa. There wasn't anything wrong with our treatments, they just weren't the best either. With everything else feeling so wonderful at La Playa, I expected more out of the spa. It was standard. Nice, but not anything special. If you're looking for a refreshing touch of class inside the US, an easy trip to the Gulf Coast with La Playa reservations is highly recommended!

Hotel was great. Loved the pool, beach, staff, room.etc. Nothing to complain about. Would stay there again for sure!

This hotel was in the best location. We loved the beach and pools. The staff was friendly and took a great interest in us. We can't wait to return.

a first rate hotel in every way! Beach was nice, enough chairs even though hotel was busy, great food, wonderful staff. The only tiny (tiny) thing that wasn't great...hard to get the right temp in my room. But since the room was so nice, I managed just fine!

My husband and I went to Naples to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches. We had a really great time and would definitely go back. The hotel was very clean and had great customer service.

okay

We were very disappointed not to get an ocean view room, considering the fact that the hotel was almost empty and the fact that I had a complimentary Noble Upgrade Certificate. [...]all we were able to get was a pool view room which was nowhere close to what we would have been happy with.[...]

good service with excellent food. a very attentive beach service.

Staff was great loved the location. We stayed At the beach house (not the hotel)it was very Nice and clean but the building Was a little dated.it was still worth the money And we would definitely go back. We also liked How you didn't have to leave your beach chair To get food or drinks
