The apartment has been renovated in an upscale fashion. Also, the spacious balcony overlooking the river is amazing. And the hosts were easy to contact and helpful. On the downside, we wish the hosts would be more transparent with details, which would have made our stay more enjoyable:-there is no elevator, so 54 winding steps are required to access the apartment. -the listing mentions laundry services and a dryer, but they are not in the apartment. When we inquired, you have to contact the property manager to utilize them. -the bedrooms have very low ceilings, so tall people beware. -the bathroom for the master bedroom on the upper floor has no walls or doors. The toilet, tub with shower head and sink are just open in the bedroom. -we would have appreciated a guidebook on how to operate the coffee maker and electronics.
