Nags Head pros and cons

Communication with the owner company was easy via email and texting. The house is well constructed. The decks felt sturdy and safe and the pool is nice. There are a lot of stairs! All the appliances worked great and the kitchen was well stocked with a variety of dishes, pots, pans and utensils. We set the air conditioning to a comfortable level for us and there were multiple ceiling fans throughout the home. The kids enjoyed the pool table and ping pong, along with the outdoor play space. We brought our own badminton set and a volleyball. The pool was enjoyable which we used every day. The property backs up to very busy and noisy hwy 158. The walk to the beach was easy for most of us but there is parking close by the beach for those unable to walk distances. We expected to have access to the property at 6 pm but were pleasantly surprised to get a text that it was ready for us at 5. I wish the cleaners had used that hour to clean the floors and ceilings, however. Occasional cobwebs, very dirty fan blades and floors needed attention. If that is corrected- this can be a great house- except for the noise outside! It does settle down some at night. Being a few blocks off the beach was beneficial on a day when it rained so much that the roads closest to the beach were flooded. Something to consider when choosing this property.

Overall good house

Housekeeping was not the best and some of the issues were out in plain sight. Not sure how they could have been missed if they walked into the rooms. Email Resort Realty with concerns and pictures

Beach trip

This place was great. Everyone enjoyed the video games and playing pool. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, horseshoes, cornhole, and volleyball. The out door speakers were nice too. Plenty of room for everyone and not far from the beach. What a great trip!

Great house to have fun in!

We loved the pool and the game room. Having two fridges/kitchen areas was really nice. Rooms are nice, beds a little uncomfortable. Some wear and tear noticeable and some areas not very clean I.e. shower curtain bottoms, water dispenser on the fridge. Easy walk to the beach and very central to all things Nags Head. Kids enjoyed the pool table and arcade! Would recommend for a fun family trip!

Could be a perfect house

House is not clean. Carpets were stained horribly. Grout on kitchen floor is black, just as your feet will be after walking on it. This house is beautiful and in a great location, it’s a shame it is not well maintained. Time for a new cleaning crew or rental agent. When the guests have to clean the house before their vacation even starts, something is wrong.

House wasn’t clean, hot tub and pool were not in service.

The house was really dirty. I called to ask for the hot tub and pool to be serviced so we could use them and it was not done even though the reservation dept submitted a work ticket. The bottom level back door was also unlocked when we arrived.

We travelled in September and had lovely weather. The property was as advertised. We especially liked all the bathrooms and the game features. The kitchen was well stocked. The walk to the beach was short and pleasant. The only drawback is road noise from the bypass. An enthusiastic two thumbs up!
