Built in 1933 by S.J. Twine, this estate will give you a sense of how things used to be on the OBX while offering the finest amenities. The main house retains all the historical features for which the old Nags Head cottages have become famous; the unpainted wood cedar shakes, the lean out porch benches and the propped shutter windows - to name a few, all designed to enhance function over form. Recent updates include a gourmet kitchen, master bath and walk-in master closet. For the young at heart, the garage area features a vintage, classic Foosball table.

I loved this property. Old school Nags Head. Great porch, charming home and plenty of space to stretch out between the 3 sleeping areas. The only thing I wish it has were screens on the windows and doors so we could have opened the house up to the ocean breeze. Our neighbors were awful (looked like they just graduated high school) but that's not this properties fault. We would stay here again.
