As we arrived very early in the morning, this hotel was very convenient. The room we were given was spacious but had seen better days, as was the bathroom which was in dire need of renovation. Our room on the 4th floor was located underneath a large air conditioning unit installed on the roof and which made a terrible noise. When we complained to Reception they said they would look into it. We didn’t hear back from them again. Thankfully we found a member of the housekeeping staff and explained the problem to him and got him to come a listen to the racket. After that things happened quickly, and we were given a choice of two rooms also on the 4th floor. This room was in a much better condition than the previous one and the bathroom a great improvement. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed the food. The service was good and the people friendly. However, it would have been nice to see a smile from staff at Reception and in the Reception area.
Terrible rooms besides large room size, dirty bed linen, absolutely disgusting bathrooms, flushes that don't work, water leaking, really really dirty overall. AC didn't work well. Besides the grand entrance and foyer there isn't a lot of good i can say about this place. Oh it is a 2 min drive to the airport if thats a bonus!
I stayed for 2 nights in pride and had painful and unpleasant experience, I changed 3 rooms at midnight 12 on the day of checkin due to poorly managed room conditions. Staffs were supportive and warm welcoming but hotel needs major revamp. Room has poorly managed fans, which makes noise when turned on. Lighting conditions are poor in all premium rooms including suite which I was offered as a compensation but it had it’s own flaws. Fan was either on full speed or no speed. The electronic regulator did not work, the washroom had clogged washbasin and sever gas sticking through the room. The windows weren’t soundproof and could hear metro work and hammering all night. Bathroom has only 1 light working and drawing area has no light. I waited 30 mins for the hotel to furnish checkout facility.
Good place to dine. Had wonderful variety and smiling faces around. Its always a happy note to meet people here. Buffet spread is good and team made special meal on request was their kindness. Will visit again and again.
Its a 5 star property and The staff are friendly. They are always helpful. Rooms are good and decorations are attractive. Maximum channels are available but Bengali channels are not available in the TV, the only upset. Toilet is well maintained.
Stayed first time with my cousin ... my cousin had a bad experience about AC which he told me entering the hotel ... Same repeated we changed two rooms because AC is not working ....This is very old property and literally TIRED from every corner ... reception behaviour is rude ... breakfast is ok .... I m just surprised about there FIVE STAR LABEL
Simply the best, in all aspects. In-depth hospitality and the entire banquets team is very honest to their intentions to support client's function to make this a grand and memorable event. Food is very tasty. Service team is very active and polite. The credit of all this goes to well coordinated management team. Once align with them, trust them and leave things on them, finally, you will get much more beyond expectations. Great team, grand hospitality.
Within walking distance of the airport, Pride Hotel is still a good choice for business trips. Spacious rooms, good restaurant and good rooms. Efficient service. Adequate facilities for meetings and conferences.
We stayed here for one night at the end of a 2 week safari tour. On first impression the hotel lobby looked fairly impressive but once you started to explore you soon realised just how dirty and rundown this hotel is. Our bedroom carpet was worn and dirty, our bath and shower were dirty with rusty plug chain and the swimming pool again was dirty and run down. I certainly would not use the pool. The only good thing about this hotel was the evening meal and breakfast which were both very good. Do yourself a favour and stay in the new Radisson up the road.
We had a lovely stay at Pride and special thanks to Mr. Pranabesh Mondal, Executive Housekeeper for the excellent service provided. The buffet spread was also elaborate and tasty and there was live ghazal music also in the Casablanca restaurant one evening.
