This was an excellent stay, can only recommend.

Staying at Marriott hotel is a treat. I was able to give max 5 stars, and I wojld give min of 10! Every single member of staff appears professional, they were always polite and very helpful. The room was something else, if we could, we would live there. Compare to prices in the UK oir 2 days stay was cheap and we thoroughly enjoyed that. If you can, book Marriott!

I recently stayed at this Marriott and would not recommend it for families with small children, giving it a two-star rating. The experience was not kid-friendly. The staff seemed unprepare and indifferent to accommodate families, showing little assistance with our needs, like early check-ins. For a supposedly upscale property, the lack of family consideration and subpar service make this a poor choice for those traveling with young kids. Look elsewhere if you’re bringing children.

They’ve got a “customer harassment” policy posted right in the front lobby. I get that nobody should deal with harassment, but it felt super tacky for an upscale place to hit guests with a warning before even saying hello. I’ve stayed at plenty of Marriott properties, and I’ve never seen this before. It really speaks volumes about how the management views customer service. Heads-up, folks.

I recently stayed at a Marriott property and had mixed feelings about the experience, warranting a two-star review. The facility itself was impressive—clean, modern, and well-maintained, with great amenities that made the stay visually appealing and comfortable. However, the customer service was substandard and left much to be desired. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, often taking too long to address basic requests, and still got it wrong. To top it off, I was hit with an unreasonable overcharge on my bill that wasn’t clearly explained, and resolving it felt like pulling teeth. While the property itself is top-notch, the poor service and unexpected charges significantly detracted from the overall experience. Marriott needs to step up their customer service game to match the quality of their facilities.

Top notch place to stay while in Nagasaki. As per normal Marriot, the room were impeccable and quite luxurious. The only thing I didn’t like was the WiFi service. It is tied to their Bonvoy services and does not work well with VPN. This is commonly throughout the Marriot system and annnoying from a connectivity standpoint. Ignoring the wireless issues, this was an overall excellent choice. Staff were extremely competent and friendly, food choices (while pricey) were very good. Would visit again and highly recommend.

Great location next to the Nagasaki train station and bus terminal. Property is new so rooms are nicely equipped and maintained very well, really appreciate the nice touches to the room as well as cleanliness. Breakfast was nice with different assortment each day. Dined at the hotel for dinner and the experience and food were very nice as well. Staff was attentive and made the overall stay enjoyable. Overall a really nice stay!

It's the Marriott, you really can't go wrong. But let's break it down a little. The staff. I know it's Japan and hospitality is their thing, and I know it's the Marriott and the overall experience is #1, but holy cow. I'm not sure just how authentic those smiles were, and I don't care, it made my day every day, multiple times a day. We were greeted by an English speaking concierge who helped us get checked in, and the rest of the time we got to practice our Japanese to the happiest staff I've ever seen. The room was incredible. The bathroom opens up or closes completely with sliding doors, allowing privacy or opening the room wide. The toilet room was separate with another sliding door (which I'm loving in Japan) to save space. The bed was a king and super comfortable. Our room overlooked the city center, another perk. The breakfast buffet was unbelievable in the best way. We made use of it every morning. A blended selection of Western and Japanese dishes, and everything was seriously amazing. We didn't get to try any other restaurant in the hotel, but did partake of some of the grab-N-go treats, because we love desserts. The hotel is right next to Nagasaki Station, and a large mall, not to mention a street car station so it's extremely convenient to get around. It's the Marriott, you can't go wrong here, but still we loved our stay and will come back again.
