Parts of the road to the hotel are poor and need maintenance. However, when you reach the hotel, it is all worth it. This place must have one of the best views in the world. The rooms and grounds are spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel staff are very helpful: on the last day we had a problem with our taxi which failed to turn up. The reception staff sorted everything out and also made sure we had plenty of free tea and coffee whilst we waited for the car to arrive. The location is great for walking and we hiked to the viewpoint and the local village. The picture shows our balcony which was huge and had the most amazing views. Thank you, Mystic Mountain, for a great stay.
I don't understand how this hotel can be travelers ranked #1 for Nagarkot. There is a serious lack of attention to detail and maintenance. It does not feel like a 4 star hotel. I just came back from a 10 days trip in Nepal from Hong Kong, me and my friends stayed at Mystic Mountain for 1 night. We were attracted by the hotel location and the view, and the infinity pool...however, don't be fooled: Pros: Great location high up. Cons: The road to the hotel is very poor, be prepared to be car sick. Maintenance at the hotel is an issue, things are pretty run down. The hotel operations has serious flaws/issues...you can see mattresses/mattress covers in the hallway, the balcony in the rooms are great, but when you look down, it's the view of mops, brooms, hanging towels. The water in the pool is stagnant (so it gets murky). Food is not great...stick to Nepalese choices. I would not recommend to stay here, there are better options...in fact, there is no need to go to Nagarkot if you plan to go to Pokhara. Suggestion for the hotel: focus on the details and improve maintenance. The hotel has a lot of potential.
The road up the mountain to the hotel is rough and the ride is slow and bumby. And finally you arrive at the hotel that seems so out of place. The hotel has spectacular views of the valley below, and when the clouds allow you can see the snow capped Himalayas. All the rooms face the Himalayas as do the restaurant, bar, and lounge area. The room we had was spacious, clean, and well appointed, and had a nice balcony with a couple of chairs and a small table. The internet worked surprisingly well. Dinner at the restaurant there, and breakfast the next morning were good. Would definitely stay there again, but next time would stay 2 nights to increase chances of seeing all of the snow capped mountains.
All the rooms face the mountains so you're in good shape. There's a bit of walking from many rooms to the registration and dining areas, but everything is well tended. The biggest issue would be difficulty for wheel chair dependent people, but I suspect they have rooms that can be reached by ramps. Mine required several sets of short stairs.
Stayed here for one night. It’s a bit of a bumpy road getting there but so worth it!! Views are amazing, from the rooms, restaurant, skybar, swimming pool... basically the back of the hotel is mainly glass making the most of the magnificent outlook. Would have loved to have stayed another night but had already made plans. Thoroughly recommend this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and food was good too. Fabulous! Fabulous!!
Mystic Mountains has lived upto it's name in each and every way. The design of the hotel, the warm ambiance and personal care taken by the staff all go to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as you would expect it to be. The contemporary interiors, the beautiful French windows, decks and sit-outs, all with the purpose of getting the best of the grand views of the valley and mountains, the thoughtful little additions keeping the client's need in mind,(like providing flip flops/chappals with every room),providing a delicious spread in the restaurant, and a wide variety of food and drink to choose from, all go to make this hotel number 1 in my choice of stay at Nagarkot.

It's an amazing place to be. Mystic Mountain was the perfect place for our hiatus from work. Really amazing service and all around good management. The environment and ambience was one of the most beautiful things I've ever experienced. I can't put into words how great this place is, especially for people looking for a break from the city life. Super worth it! Loved the way it looks after the satisfaction of its guests and treats them as an asset. My words wouldn't suffice to thank the service they offered us at the hotel. Upon our reach at the hotel they gave us a pleasant surprise that our normal bookings were upgraded to EXECUTIVE DELUXE SUIT, WOW WOW WOW! We were thrilled to get this villa as a surprise 😍😍 We were hopping and jumping around with excitement after having a look at the room. It was a Royal Treat for us ! Thank you Hotel Mystic Mountain for everything 😍 I will definitely visit again and again at your place. And would like to suggest everyone to visit once at this place , I bet you will not feel like leaving the place . Best use of my time and money 😍
I and my friend were looking for a quick getaway that was long overdue for us. It was a perfect day to go to Nagarkot as we had a teej holiday and got to celebrate in a grand way. Hotel Mystic Mountain was our first stay at Nagarkot and this hotel has the best that Nagarkot has to offer. First of all we were are absolute awe at the view it offers. The layer of hills that the hotel overlooks is absolutely majestic. The shape of the hotel building is another exceptional feature that we loved. All the photographs came wonderful and we can't help but keep flaunting our stay on our social media. We had an unforgetable luxury experience as the hoel rooms are very cozy and private balconies offered a view to the hills. The employees are very attentive and friendly. The swimming pool has an breathtaking vew to the hills and we couldnt help but keep taking photographs. We also used the jacuzzi which was a new experience for us. The room service is very quick, We loved the breakfast and dinner menu which has a great variety of food choices. Since my frriend forgot her swimming costume the souvenir shop at the hotel came handy. I also liked that the bathroom had hair dryer that helped to fix my hair. My friend also made a video for her youtube channel as it was totally worth it. We made amazing memories together. This is a great value for money.
