Hotel was very busy when we visited, however for a booked function, the service was very poor. Spring rolls, cocktail sausages and chicken nuggets, with sandwiches, all cold. Not what I expected. Wouldn't go back again.
We stayed in Lawlors Hotel as part of a small group of business people who had worked and lived in Naas over 25 years ago. We wanted a location centre to some of the old pubs that we were know from the past. The group of 12 had traveled from all parts of Ireland and arrived at different times during the day. We all found that our booking in and welcome was the same, handled and organised very professionallyl and that the welcome was genuine. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable, Meal & Drinks were very reasonable. Unfortunately, one of our party could not make the night as one of his family members was very unwell and pallitive care. At the time of the booking, the rooms were paid for in advance in full. When we pointed out that one member would not be staying, Lawlors took this on board and offered a full refund for the room. This was unexpected and a terrific gesture on behalf of Lawlors. In times when businesses are seen as soul less enterprises, this gesture gives you hope that people matter and that people in business can be decent. Thank you for going the extra and well done Lawlors Hotel Naas. Special thanks to Grace Shannon.
Undergoing extensive expansion and underground car park a bit leaky and exposed, but on the whole a decent enough stay. Tried to book for November 22nd but booked out for Goffs sales. Nice Indian across the road, Mantra.
What a lovely place to stay cannot day enough about it the rooms are a tad bit warm but other than that lovely found a lovely little bar just to the side of the hotel and found a lovely barmaid Amanda who just oozed class so professional in her job but up for the craic definitely worth a stay
First impressions of the hotel were very good. With a nicely decorated exterior and a welcoming seating area outside. There is underground parking onsite which is secure behind a large gate. Check-in/out was hassle free and the staff welcoming. The room was spacious with two double beds and a large bathroom. It was immaculate but there was no air-con which caused the room to be very warm in the morning. The bar is clean and stylish but didn't have any local beers in stock when I asked but there are plenty of other choices. Breakfast was OK but I found the vegetarian options a bit slim. My wife did enjoy her fry.
The location of this hotel is excellent if you want to be near everything Naas has to offer, for that alone I would recommend. I stayed there with my husband and we enjoyed our stay. Please be aware however that this is not what I would call a luxury hotel but has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay.
Loved my stay here. Couple of minor things with arrival. The hotel's website says the entrance to the parking is to the left of the hotel. It's not. It's too the right. Also the underground carpark was flooded and very slippery so watch out if it's been raining. There is also a lot of building work going on with a huge extension being built. However I didn't hear any noise. That said the hotel was lovely I had a classic room which was nicely appointed with a comfy bed. There was a safe in the wardrobe which wasn't bolted down which was pointless. The food in the bar. Pub style food but it was fantastic. Great food, good portion sizes and pretty reasonable. I'd stay here again
Lawlor s Hotel is centrally located in Naas and all parts of the town are within walking distance. A new extension is being built but didn’t affect our stay. Food is a particular highlight and the service was top class.
Only stayed for one night but would definitely return. HUGE bonus was the fan provided in the room. Room was much larger than expected. Had a late dinner in the restaurant (steak on a stone is quite an experience!) and breakfast the next morning was delicious. They are very accommodating for gluten free (I have celiac).
Booked for a one night stay in Naas, hotel is right in the middle of the town. Staff were very friendly during my entire stay, very welcoming. Room was enormous, could as was the bathroom. Facilities in the room were fine, and bathroom was very clean. Plentiful selection for breakfast in the large dining area.
