Beautiful view of Lake Myvatn from our room. We arrived very late. Staff was very nice to help us to check in.
We were only in Myvatn one night....but this hotel was perfect for our travel requirements.
Our room had been totally renovated. It was lovely. Hotel was clean and updated. Little restaurant in parking lot was awesome for dinner. The airplane toilet flush system was quite noisy and an oddity and the shower sprayed the entire bathroom room. Would suggest a curtain. But overall a great place to stay for the nite
The restaurant really is not good. It sells overpriced food which is fine, but the food itself is awful. Please remove the chef and make the food tasty and enjoyable. It was shocking how bad the food was. My party had 4 main courses and all were very poor. Its and all-looks, no-taste and substance experience. It was by far the worst dining experience on our 10 day Iceland trip
A modern and clean hotel set in an amazing location. The front desk woman was a delight!
The room was dated, there was not hot water, and when the lukewarm water came in, there was no pressure to it. The wifi was down the rest of the night. Husband and I checked in the hotel after 11pm, wanting just a hot shower and to veg out online and we got neither. My husband reported those issues to the manager, and he was very pompous and dismissive about it. I will not recommend this hotel.

The man behind the desk at check-in was very nice and helpful. Parking was limited due to some construction going on in the parking area, so he walked outside the hotel with me and personally found me a place to park. I was pleased with the size and the cleanliness and comfort of the room. They have a lift which is not that common in Iceland which helps with the luggage needed for a 2 week trip to Iceland. I would recommend this hotel.
The hotel is still under construction... Workers are finishing the restaurant, the lobby. Only some rooms are finished. There are dust everywhere in the loby. It’s not good for the health. We had to go to another hotel... By the way, the hotel will surely be very beautiful when finished (the rooms are perfect).
