We really enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful, with stylish decor and very comfortable beds. We especially loved the enclosed back porch-perfect for relaxing and the lake view behind the house was a great bonus. One small suggestion: it would be nice to have a porch light for sitting outside in the evenings. It did get a bit warm on our last night, but overall, the home was lovely and we had a wonderful time.

Beautiful & precise.

This is a beautiful home. The views from the backyard are gorgeous. It’s spacious. It’s clean. It’s super nice inside & plenty of places to lounge outside. It’s quiet & exactly as listed. The beach is right up the road. Broadway isn’t far at all, plenty of shopping, eating & entertainment all around. It is pet friendly which was super helpful when booking with my friends dog. We celebrated her retirement. :) The ONLY issue we had at ALL was the air conditioning behind locked & set to 75 at the beginning of June. It gets super hot in SC from May-September. The temperature should be no higher than 70 inside. It’s entirely too hot & too big of a house with a ton of windows/doors for it to be set at 75. Steve DID fix that issue for us & turned it to what we asked & he also made up for it by extending the check out from 10-12am which we really appreciated. Over all, this house is perfect. Would 100% rent again & would recommend to others. Thank you, Steve. Lovely home.

Wonderful Stay

We loved our stay! It was a nice surprise to see they had a pack n play and baby gate since we were traveling with a young child. The house was very clean and had supplied everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

I recently stayed at a VRBO property in Myrtle Beach, and while the location was excellent and the house itself was spacious, there were some significant issues that impacted our stay. First, we had a major problem with the air conditioning. Despite being set to a reasonable temperature, it took almost 10 hours to cool the house down to a comfortable level. This was particularly frustrating given the hot summer weather. Additionally, the listing stated that there was a jacuzzi/spa available, but upon arrival, we discovered that this was not the case. This was a big disappointment as it was one of the amenities we were most looking forward to using. Overall, while the stay had its positives, these issues need to be addressed for future guests to have a truly enjoyable experience.

A Perfect Stay at Turtle Bay

My recent stay at Turtle Bay by the seaside, hosted by Steve, was nothing short of spectacular. If I could, I would rate this rental home as 10 stars. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that Steve had gone above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. Steve's responsiveness was outstanding. He promptly and thoroughly addressed any questions or concerns we had, making us feel well taken care of from the start. The house itself was fantastic. It had everything we needed and more, and it was spotlessly clean. Stepping inside, we immediately felt at home. I was especially grateful that my dog could join us; finding pet-friendly accommodations of this caliber can be challenging. The views from the windows onto the lake were breathtaking. Each morning, we woke up to serene scenery, adding an extra layer of tranquility to our stay. The location couldn't have been better. Close to the beach, entertainment, shopping, and dining, there were plenty of options for activities. Despite its convenient location, the neighborhood was quiet, and the neighbors were friendly. Steve was a superb host who made the check-in process a breeze. He provided us with all the necessary information on how to enter the property and informed us about the house rules, ensuring a smooth transition into our stay. I highly recommend Turtle Bay to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Will definitely be recommending it to friends and family.
