Exterior of the hotel is largely outdated. But convenient off main road. Interior of hotel is what you would expect for a 2or3 star hotel. When I got in the elevator, there was a big pool of water. Hallways are dingy. Room itself was decent. Linens appeared clean. But bathroom and shower was the smallest I've seen. Shower is a stand up with a door that is so slim it reminded me of what you'd see on a boat. Staff were friendly. Although every time I asked a question i was told only the manager could approve but the manager was never there. So I'd have to come back and somehow they'd suddenly talked to a manager (who still never appeared) to answer my question. I add this tidbit merely for extra (ratings are not reflected by this part of my experience as I was asking for an exception, but it struck me as odd). I had to leave a day early for a family emergency. Got a call in the middle of the night so I went to desk around 6am. I explained the situation and asked to check out early. He said to come back after 8 to ask the manager. I was hoping to leave before then but waited. But no manager was avail at 8, at. So I explained again to the new desk staffer - who said he had to ask the MGR. So I never saw manager but was offered credit for half of 1 night. I travel all the time. Exceptions for emergencies is not uncommon. To offer credit for just half felt odd. I've never heard anyone say they were offered half. I'm grateful to have gotten half back but again - felt ... kind ewe.
