Big Balcony with Great Ocean View, But needs new mattresses

We had two couples, a teenager and our 84 year old mom. We came to meet with extended family. The room was spacious and we really enjoyed having room in the kitchen/dining/living areas for everyone to gather. The balconies, one small one off the main living area and another big one with access from the master and the dining was awesome. The view of the ocean and the pool area was super too. Everyone really enjoyed the easy access to the parking and elevators too. We could walk right to our car from the 3rd floor parking (although it was in the direct sun) The only real complaint I had was the quality of the mattresses. They were ok, but not what you would expect from this sort of property. It's time to upgrade to memory foam and come into 2022. The kitchen was spacious, but not stocked with even basics like paper towels, dishsoap, etc. The plates and utensils were limited, so don't plan to cook unless you come prepared. I felt that would be easy to upgrade also. Overall I loved the condo and would recommend it.

Paradise in Myrtle Beach

Our overall stay in Myrtle Beach at "The Seawatch Resort" was amazing. Everything that was depicted and shown online was exactly how it was in person. It was great to wake up to an amazing view everyday of our stay. Having the 3 bedroom unit made it extremely comfortable for our family with plenty of room. The balcony wrapped all the way around and was situated perfectly for the view of the hot tub, pool, tiki bar, and of course the ocean. We enjoyed the many sunrises and sunsets sitting on the balcony. I'd definitely reccomend booking for a nice family getaway. It's location and proximity to everything was wonderful. We definitely plan to come back, and this is where we'll stay!

Great Family Getaway

Nice 3 bedroom condo with amazing view of the sunrise, beach and convenient location near shopping mall and restaurants. Unit is outdated but we still enjoyed our stay. Kids had so much fun playing at the wave pool.

Disappointing

The unit is very old and outdated. The linens, furniture, and carpet have not been changed since the 70s. It had a funny smell. The couch and carpet need to be deeply cleaned. The mattresses were not comfortable. There was a sock inside the folded "clean" sheet. There was a cigar on the floor near the bed. The pictures must've came from an updated unit.

Great Stay!

The Unit was as described and very clean. Communication and responsiveness from the resort were great online. The only issue we encountered was that the garbage in the kitchen was full and not emptied, but the staff immediately rectified the issue and apologized profusely. Also in one of the rooms (in a drawer) there was a pack of barbecue sauce and a note from someone that previously stayed. I would absolutely recommend this resort and Unit as it is very well kept by the owners, just make sure the cleaning crew cleans thoroughly. I will definitely return and ask for this Unit specifically in the future. Thank you! 🙂

Great off season getaway

Last minute booking was simple and off season rate for this size and quality unit was fantastic. Convenient location, easy parking, friendly staff and nice amenities made for a great stay. Our only minor complaint was that the unit had just been cleaned with a soured mop and had a bad smell in the condo for the first hour or so. We opened the balconies and let the fresh ocean breeze in and the smell was not a problem after that. This condo was perfect for our family with a separate bedroom and bathroom for each couple and plenty of room to gather in the living dining area. Awesome oceanfront views and quiet off season complex added to our post holiday down time! We can imagine this place would be hopping during summer with lots of pools and fun stuff on the property plus a really nice beach. We will stay here again for sure.
