Perfect getaway!

Waking up to coffee on the ocean is absolutely amazing and the condo was so cute and had all the amenities we were looking for! We loved the resort and all that it had to offer and how close it was to anything else we needed/wanted to do. We would absolutely stay here again!

Horrible experience

When booking we were not informed that the building would be under construction come time for our vacation which meant we didn’t have access to all amenities which other vacationers also complained about to us.We were given a hard time to get the passcode to get into the gate which I never received in an email and when we got into the unit, our comforter had blue crusty stains all over it, which indicates it was not washed, and there were stains on the pullout couch mattress, and as we tried to exit the door the handle came off. Extra blankets as stated …….nope! Forget about being able to maneuver around on the small deck with the very large glider chairs. The building was not clean at all and only 2 elevators were working which meant long lines to get into one. One nice thing was having the Quarter Deck right there which was fun to listen to during nights with bands and karaoke. Also, if the room says it fits 5 people DO NOT bring in anyone extra. We brought in a 12 year old friend of our daughters along with our other kids which we have on prior vacations with no issues and were evicted after being there only 3 1/2 days. She was not willing to communicate with us by phone to figure something out, it was “get her out or be evicted”. This was my first time booking through VRBO and never again !

Great condo, but...

We enjoyed our accommodations immensely. Had everything we needed and more. Our only wish was that there was a little more open space to put our personal things (maybe fewer decorations). The place is beautiful and you can tell the host/owner takes great pride in it. However, we were very disappointed with the resort. The pool next to our building was closed. The other pools were so full there was no room to sit down. You had to enter and exit the building through one door only and go around a big construction fence to get to the beach, etc. Lots of litter. People hung their laundry all over the balconies. It just wasn't very attractive and needed some TLC. Also, they charged $20 to drive our car into the resort. We didn't know about that (as well as the construction project) at the time of booking. The resort sent us a letter just prior to our stay saying we got a discounted rate but I don't know if that happened or not. It would be nice if the resort would provide a partial refund.

Weekend Trip

We had a great time here. The condo was super clean and extremely well stocked with lots of extras. Shawna was very prompt with communication. We loved the balcony and listening to karaoke from the beach bar. It was a great trip and we hope to visit again.

Awesome Beach Condo!

This unit is exactly as shown in the photos. It was extremely clean, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The property manager was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect getaway

The condo is adorable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect and we loved listening to the ocean waves and the very enthusiastic, albeit off key, karaoke nights from the bar/restaurant 😁.

Spring Break& Easter 2024

If you are looking for a place that feels like home and like your renting from family…..you need to look no further! Shawna is the best and made us feel like family and welcomed from day one! Our family was able to get in our room a little earlier than expected due to our room being ready on arriving to the beach. As we entered our home away from home for the week we were welcome with snacks and a thoughtful Easter basket with candy for the boys. The studio is decorated so beautifully, very clean, comfortable: mattresses ✔️, & kitchen had everything we needed and more! Big Plus: (Balcony) beach view when the boys liked throwing football on the beach in the afternoons. Wall Beds with individual tv’s as the boys hooked up their PlayStations. Our family looks forward to booking with Shawna again! Promise you want be disappointed!!!

Beach Vacation

This Beach Studio Apartment was exactly how the pictures state! Superb Condo with beautiful views and close to lots of things. Our stay was wonderful the kids loved their own space with their own bed TV’s. Great Communication with the host/owner Helps answer all your questions and has great tips for fun places, The beach was busy but fun! Kids enjoyed listening to the music and karaoke at the restaurant below. This is a great unit to stay at!

Great place to stay

We loved this condo. Great view, quick access to the beach and nearby to some great restaurants and shopping. But, we were a bit surprised by the karaoke every night from 7 pm to 11 pm. Our experience was that the music carried into the condo in the evening. But otherwise seems to have everything you need to enjoy a beach getaway.

Perfect little space!

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend on our anniversary. The building is a bit dated, but when we opened the door to our unit- WOW! The renovations they did were gorgeous and they made great use of the space. Even though we weren’t there with our kids (yay!) we could have fit the three of them easily. It was right on the beach, and had a beach bar right below it. The bar closes at 11 every night, so the music doesn’t go past that. We went down to check out Surfside beach area and we were about a mile from the actual line. The resort has lots of amenities, although we didn’t take advantage of any. We spent our days at the beach. 10/10 would recommend!

Our vacation trip

We loved our trip and found the accommodations suitable. We loved the access to the beach, pools and the tiki bar which did take up some of our time. The room was neat and organized and very clean and as regular vacationers who have stayed in various places the cleanliness is important to us. A couple points for us. - The balcony was small and those chairs were nice but took up too much space and made it hard to enjoy the view and climbing in for us older people. - The bed was comfy but again hard to climb in. - Kitchen offered everything we needed but no place to keep food that we would be using. Probably should have some small cabinet next to fridge. These are all minor things as overall we did enjoyed the stay and your accommodations did make it pleasant. We would definitely suggest your room to someone looking for a vacation spot.

Relaxing and Enjoyable

We recently spent a week at Shawna and Mike's beautiful VRBO. Although it was small, we had a wonderful time relaxing and exploring so many different sites.. We found wonderful restaurants and were given additional info from Shawna regarding golf courses. Out arrival was stress free despite our inability to operate the keyless entry. Shawna was patient and walked us through the process several times until the light bulb went on for this older couple. There was a minor problem with the kitchen sink plumbing and Shawna set up repair service immediately without hesitation and kept us up to date regarding arrival times, etc. The work crew was courteous and respectful while Shawna was kind enough to offer us an extra night free of charge or a discount for another stay in the future to accommodate any inconvenience. Great lodgings, great location, and great care put forth by the owner.

Perfect Oceanfront view

Excellent !!! Cozy, clean + a wonderful ocean view balcony. The window’s view is awesome. If you don’t mind having a closet, this is a great choice. Kids enjoyed having their own TV for entertaining at night time. Can’t wait to come back to MB !!!

Beautiful condo and a nice resort with lots of ammenities

Checkin was easy with the host/owner, who provided great communication prior to and during our stay. The unit was recently renovated completely, and is directly on the beachfront, and is nicely furnished and decorated. We have stayed at the resort before, and we love the variety of pools, tennis and pickleball, and of course the beach! Grocery stores and restaurants are close by also. The resort's restaurant has karaoke every evening, which we could hear from inside the room, but they stopped at 10 pm. It was fun listening to them! We highly recommend this place!
