Our favorite family vacay!

D04A is our summer home away from home for the best week out of the summer. We love this house, the location and all Ocean Lakes has to offer. The owners are the best. Can’t wait for next year!

Great vacation

Loved the location of this house! Short walk to everything!!! We really enjoyed the outdoor bar area in the evening. The refrigerator and commercial ice maker down there was a great convenience. We were able to fill our beach coolers without having to buy ice.

best family vacay!

This is our third year returning to this property for our family vacation (in laws with our family of 5). It’s the perfect location and accommodates us just right. The house is clean and welcoming. The owners are great to work with!

Amazing home

Everything was wonderful with this home. So convenient to everything! 2 blocks to the beach, only a few blocks from the pool/water park! We loved the outside bar! The setup was amazing complete with a big screen TV and ice machine! We saved so much time and money because of the ice machine!! Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely THE best!

I can’t say enough great things about this house and the hosts! They were quick to welcome us and check in on us and how things were going. Even sent us a thank you card in the mail a week after our stay ended… what other home owners do that? They were incredible and we will definitely be booking with them again! 💓

So for the past 3 years I've rented the same house about 3 blocks from this property but the price was a bit steep this year and this house was a lot more affordable and about 2 blocks closer to the beach. I want to give an honest review without trying to sound spiteful. I rented this place for my 39th birthday celebration and when we got there, we noticed some things outside and inside that weren't very appealing. My wife and sister-in-law took some time to correct it. I brought it to the host's attention and I could tell she was genuinely apologetic and even offer to send someone out to make it right but I was there to celebrate my birthday and didn't want to spend time dealing with vanyone that wasn't there for the good times. After my wife got things in order, we freaky had a great time in the kitchen and outside the bar area. We had such a great time, our last night there we didn't even listen to music, we all just sat out by the bar and had some fire conversations with family. Someone did however call security on us which wasn't surprising given the passively rude crowd we ran into this year. We still had an amazing time .

Fun at D04A

We came to Myrtle Beach for our father’s funeral and decided to make a beach vacation out of it. We have been coming to Ocean Lakes for many, many years and the entire family loves it. We rented D04A and it couldn’t have been better. The 5 bedrooms made it perfect for a large family. The owners were absolutely fabulous. We had a small issue upon arrival and they came and fixed it immediately. We would have been fine without the fix, but they insisted they wanted to make it right and we were so impressed that they did. This house has everything you need. Every kitchen item you could need, a grill, a blackstone and a fabulous bar under the house. It is within walking distance to the beach and also the pool. The decks on the house are huge with lots of seating. Honestly, one of the best places we have ever stayed.
