Perfect for what we needed. Not the comfiest bed but did the trick. Screen door kept coming off and even though I booked for 3 people, we were only given 2 towels and two cups?! Made for a great time post shower with long hair and only a hand towel to use to dry myself.

Beds were comfortable and the room was clean Definitely needs a lift or ramp for mobility challenged people as 99% if the rooms are up stairs Disappointed that the restaurant was closed - that was one of the reasons we booked the John Hunter. By the time (weeks later) that we were told the restaurant was closed it was too late to book elsewhere.

The room was very clean but overall in a very tired condition, especially the shower. Although situated on a main road, it was quiet, which was surprising. The golf club is a 10min walk away & although also needs a revamp, the food was good & reasonably priced. They are currently renovating the restaurant at the hotel so it wasn’t open but hopefully once that’s done, they move onto the rooms. However I would definitely stay there again as it was convenient.
