We thoroughly enjoyed this home on the lake. The hosts were exceptional and thoughtful. All 3 bedrooms have queen sized beds. The sectional couch and games were great for hanging out. Recreational items were available as well, fishing rods, kayaks, fire pit, lounge chairs. The outdoor space was lovely as well with a ramp to enter the home for any guests with mobility challenges. Very pet friendly which I will remember for our next stay as we left our pup with a sitter. Check in/out was a breeze.

Great place for thanksgiving

I needed a place for me and my nephews to stay while visiting family in Newago. This was wonderful. We each had our own room, everything was clean. It was really nice having a washer and dryer as well.

Nice place, very well taken care of very clean

Overall you could tell the owners took care of the property it was very clean and everything was working as it should be. Clean towels, clean sheets etc. We had seven late teens/adults in our group and it fit us all just fine. Great communication. Nice little quiet lake community.

AMAZING 4th Year!

Our family of 7 plus our pup LOVES this house and it's our 4th summer making family memories! We love to water ski, wakeboard and tube and the glassy all day conditions are breathtaking! Kids fish in the morning, paddleboard, read books on the deck at sunrise and we enjoy sunset campfires. Beds are comfy, house is fully stocked with everything you could ever need and owners are quick to respond/friendly. Our kids look forward to this every year! Best place for family memories!

Peaceful getaway

Several good friends and I planned a bachelor party at Jenn's cottage in Croton as a weekend getaway to catch up and enjoy board games. I was expecting that the space would be cramped with eight adult men in it but was impressed by the quantity of space inside and outside the cottage. The dining room table was large enough for board games and snacks, and the living room proved a great spot to hang out. With the powerful A/C unit, the house stayed cool even in 80-degree weather. But the outside held the greatest gem: a million-dollar view of Croton Dam Pond (the beauty of which is done injustice by the name), stretching into the horizon and greeting our eyes warmly along with the rays of sunshine we enjoyed at mornings and evenings out on the deck. A wondrous sight to behold. A great VRBO means there exists a great VRBO host behind it; Jenn proved to be a communicative and helpful host without ever needing to be on-site. Multiple check-in/check-out papers are displayed for instructions along with a handy binder of local contacts. We never felt like we were left in dark. There were even pet bowls and a leash in case the renters brought pets and needed these items.

Amazing Getaway!

This is our 3rd summer staying at this cottage! Our family loves boating, fishing and beautiful views. Amazing sunrise and sunsets. Our dog Nalu has the time of his life! Great hosts who respond quickly and handle every detail. House is stocked with everything you need. This is a fav for our family and everyone looks forward to our time at Croton!

Better than St Nick!

Yes, it was better than Christmas! Our host, Nick, made us feel so welcome! His outgoing personality and hospitality, making sure our stay was the best possible, made us feel like were home! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful view and a cleaner home to stay in. A lot of thought and detail could be seen in the accommodations. The only thing wrong was that we weren't able to stay longer!

Amazing place

The owner was more then accommodating, I requested a much later checkout on Sunday and they didn’t even hesitate. And they love dogs! Which made me feel very comfortable with my military service dog. Thanks again for a great experience

Our second summer staying here and our WHOLE family looks forward to this week away!! Perfect conditions for skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, fishing, and super pet friendly! Hosts are amazing! Friendly, quick response and all the little details make it such a fun place! Our kids had fun making hot chocolate in the keurig and Mac n cheese that was provided by our hosts! Beautiful sunrise and sunsets! View is breathtaking! Such a restful and calm paradise.

Peaceful Paradise

Our family of 8 came to this lovely little cottage high on the banks of the Croton Dam Pond. Jenn and Nick were very gracious hosts and they really thought of everything you could possibly need for the property, which made our stay here very comfortable and enjoyable. The kayaks were a huge hit with everyone and we also spent countless hours taking in the breathtaking views from the deck. We had a fabulous time together during our stay and we will definitely be back! Thank you for everything!

Great cabin on the water!

House was very clean! Lots of space, pictures do not do it justice. Main space was large with great ac unit. Bedrooms a nice size, enough floor space to fit pack n play. Host was great at communicating and helped with questions quickly. Kayaks were a lot of fun. Highly recommend this place!
