Coulda told us the pool wasn’t open

That wasn’t very nice to arrive and see the pool empty.Also, for the amount of rental fair, I shouldn’t feel like I need to strip the beds pile of linens take out the trash.

Our Myrtle Beach Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this location several times over the years. For me in particular I luv the lounge chairs. Everything seems to be in pretty good shape but since we started their when the place was just remodeled I noticed some things are getting a little worn. I believe the mattress in the main bedroom could be replaced (upgraded). I also think the outside deck chairs are due for a replacement. Overall none of that is a gamechanger for us. If we go back to Myrtle we'll probably try to get the same place.

Did not disclose information about pool

We were informed that the pool may not be accessible during our stay, one week before we were to arrive. We would not have stayed there if we knew that was the case. There was one pool for two buildings. One day that was in the high 70's there were 21 chairs for two high rise buildings. I was told by a tenant that the pool had been under construction since November! This information was not disclosed to us upon renting or prior to our cancelation period. We would have canceled our reservation and either gone some where with a pool or paid a lot less to stay at one without a pool. Very disappointing and we will not rent here again.

Easter week at 1108

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately, the weather was cool, windy and rainy almost the entire week. That's why I rated my stay a "2". The view from #1108 was great. However, I didn't spend much time on the balcony because of the crummy weather. The cheap, plastic patio furniture overturned in the wind twice. The property was clean but was in terrible need of updating on furniture and TV's. Both TV's were tubes. The largest TV was 24" and had a combo VHS/DVD player with it.

10 Days at the Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off it's tuff to be critical. We luv the unit. Stayed their before and hope to stay their again. But since you asked I'll give my assessment. The three things that stand out to me is I think the mattress in the main bedroom should be upgraded. It has seen better days. I would like to see is basic cable added. It would be nice to just turn on the TV and get main stream news and current events. And possible some better furniture on the outside deck. But as I said earlier it's still a great place to camp out at the beach.

We were dismayed that after waiting past check-in time, there were areas that were not cleaned very well. We also noted the unit is showing wear and tear. A new coffee pot would also be a welcomed addition. We had to search for it, only to find there were 2 we had to piece together.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 2nd time that we stayed in 1108. We really enjoyed both of our stays. The condo was updated, clean, and well-equipped with everything that we needed. The elevators were quick and easy to use for a building of this size. The views were amazing! Wow! The only problem that we had was with parking. We should have had two parking spots with the 3 bedroom unit that we rented, but many times there were no parking spots left at the end of the evening. We and many others were left to park on the street. Thank goodness we found a spot and didn’t get a ticket. So for our stay, parking was a challenge and inconvenient. Other than that, it was perfect!

The only cons are a senior member of our party walked into the sliding glass door in the living room and to keep this from happening again a piece of Saran Wrap was placed on the door to remind all of us there was a door there. Some type of decal might help to keep someone from being hurt. The biggest drawback was there were only eight dinner plates for us to use and by the end of breakfast all plates were dirty and dishes had to be washed. By the end of dinner all plates were dirty and dishes had to be washed again. Other than that it's a great place to stay and my family and I would love to stay there again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: #1108 (three bedroom, three bath) in Surfmaster is a wonderful unit. Extremely clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The views from inside and on the balcony are fantastic. The owners have decorated this unit beautifully. The location is great. Conch Cafe is a short walk (about two blocks) and Garden City Pier is about a mile walk. Lot of restaurants are available in a short drive.The Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet is about a 25 minute drive. Great restaurants/bars, music and other attractions.We have stayed at the Surfmaster several times and have never been disappointed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1108 is a beautiful 3bed/3bath condo with incredible balcony views north and south! This was our second year staying and absolutely love the awesome kitchen(everything you need) and beachy living area decor. The ocean view from the master bedroom is great and the bathrooms are updated and so clean. This condo gives you plenty of space for a big family. There are very nice restaurants very close! The only suggestion we have for Surfmaster management is you definitely need to buy a new mattress for the master king bed. It is lumpy and old and not comfortable. We definitely recommend 1108 and we will be returning here next year!
