We previously stayed here in February of this year and have just returned for another stay, as it was so relaxed.Felt so at home. Everything I said in my previous post stands, and as October is a warmer time to visit, it excelled even more. Thank you to all the staff again. Wonderful place to visit.
I rarely ever go back to stay at the same resort/hotel I have already visited. However, my experience at Al Maha has been life changing due to their outstanding hospitality. Every guest is a priority & they treat everyone like family. One of the things I really loved about this resort that every staff member I spoke to was genuinely happy to be working there- that really makes Al Maha very special to me knowing that guests are their priority but they also keep their employees happy. Special shout out to Alrene, Yousuf, Eric, Yogi, Elvis.. Breakfast buffet staff that was always smiling. Thank you @Al maha, you have gifted me with some of the greatest memories. Though, mostly its good-byes but this time its until we meet again.
This was our third and forth stays at the Al Maha and it wont be our last. We stayed for 6 nights in suite number 35 and the service from arrival to leaving was faultless, the staff cant do enough for you. The property is immaculate, the food fabulous and the whole area encourages relaxation with activities available if desired. Since our last visit 2 years ago we have noticed a change in clientele and unfortunately it isn't for the better. Amongst issues: It is clearly written in your suite in bold print (and in the language that you speak we have been assured) that the dress code for the evening is smart and men must wear long trousers and a collared shirt yet this was blatantly being abused by guests turning up to dinner in shorts and t shirts, looking very scruffy. We raised this with the Management and were informed that they have long trousers available if clients doing have them and in the past they have asked clients to leave the restaurant but they have refused to do so. Another new issue is that some of the clientele do not know how to behave it is supposed to be a relaxing, upmarket property yet they are constantly talking loudly on their phones in the restaurant and during activities, like the sunset camel ride; added to them playing loud music from their phones amongst company and from their pool. The Management are again having to regularly address the problems but the comments seem to fall on deaf ears as the staff are just too nice. We didn't let it spoil our stay and we will come again in the hope that the Marriott hierarchy will address the issues as I feel otherwise the Al Maha will lose the regular repeat guests and will also become increasingly difficult to recommend the property. The Management and staff of the Al Maha go out of their way to ensure that you have a memorable stay and acknowledge that there are issues but are currently powerless to rectify them.
If you're ever in Dubai Al Maha is a place you can't miss. Private, secluded, peaceful hotel in the middle of the desert, but close to the city. Incredible service, food and rooms with private pool and privacy.
Stayed couple of hotels in this locality earlier but I can say with confidence that the experience I got here is the best. The staffs are always eager to receive you, ready to serve you and they are very motivated too towards clients satisfaction. Loved this place and must come back to relax myself once in thus area again. See you guys....
When you have 1700+ reviewers rating a property as 5 star on Tripadvisor, you know you will not be disappointed. If you are in the area, just go there for experience of a lifetime, in a desert setting! Go for the full board option, you will feel special. Would definitely go there again
Working in the hotel industry I can clearly say that this resort gives you the motivation to keep guests happy. The staff are friendly, courteous and willing to help. Not because they have to but because they genuinely care. In hospitality you either have people that love to assist people and others that are in the industry simply because they had no clue what else they could do. And I can clearly say that in Al Maha they love what they do. Special thanks to Irfan and the whole team for a great job!!
The minute you enter the reserve you step into dreamland and experience the true calmness of the desert. Youssef welcomed us with a warm smile and excitement, we felt immediately at home. The suites are gorgeous, spacious, beautiful Bedouin design and have all you need to enjoy your stay. Once you step on your terrace and look around you an instant happiness comes over you and you know your in the right place, your away from everything and enjoy the nature around you. All the staff show genuine care and are very attentive to anything you may need. Maina in the restaurant was very sweet and helpful, she knew what we needed even before asking. Arne, the GM is the absolute best company and makes you feel part of the Al Maha family. Thank you for a great stay! See you soon!
We went to here for breakfast on my birthday, whilst doing a morning safari. The hospitality there is amazing and food is out of this world. I even had a birthday cake brought to me 😊 As we entered the restaurant we were offered drinks and any choice of hot food. We were also told to help ourselves from the buffet. Completely spoilt for choice it was amazing
Just perfect, exactly how hospitality should be and how it has been described in literature books. The Luxury Collection of Marriott does it again, feeling, sharing and taking the next step in hospitality! I definitely recommend this resort which comes straight out of the fairy tail one thousand and one nights!
