The views at this location are truly spectacular! We really enjoyed the wraparound deck. The hot tub was great. The kitchen was usable and it had a lot of wonderful counter space as well as lots and lots of gadgets. We loved using the fire pit on the deck. We also loved sitting at the outdoor table. It’s currently decorated for fall and it’s so adorable. This home has plenty of space to stretch out both indoors and out. It’s also set up well, with a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. The hosts were very easy to talk to and checked in on us without being intrusive. They definitely supplied everything that we needed, and more! The property itself is gorgeous and relatively remote. We did hear some construction noises from the neighborhood behind us, but it wasn’t too loud and they’re definitely weren’t people around near us. The trail off of the driveway goes down to the lake and that’s a wonderful journey. The town of Murphy, North Carolina is really cute. It’s been growing, and there’s a restaurant under new management called Poor Parsons Pub, that was spectacular! Their steaks are amazing and their service is too. I also can’t write a review without mentioning Crafted Dough. It’s a donut shop in downtown that is only open for a few days a week in the mornings. 100% worth the trip.Overall, this year’s mountain cabin was our favorite and we do, every year! You should definitely take a look at this cabin if you’re wanting something special for your next vacation.
