Nice, small, friendly and clean hotel near the MUC airport. Perfect just for the stopover. It is located in the rural outskirts of Munich. I guess it is not a good place for visiting the city center. Good breakfast.
On out way to ski holiday , we were looping for a hotel for the night. As it was the start of out holiday, we wanted a nice and cosy hotel with good food ... they certainly met our expectations !!! Nice rooms, friendly personel and good food.
From the airport 44 euro in a taxi. The hotel is stunning, very modern, traditional look, like a mansion house. Furnished to a very high standard with en-suite bath/ shower toiletries included. We had a view overlooking the rear of the property with a full balcony with double french door which tilt and turn over looking the gardens and the main road, very little noise though. The breakfast was amazing, in my 30 year career in catering I have never seen so much food on offer, plus champagne. The breakfast is excellent and the order of eggs, the portion is huge. The main restaurant is very relaxed and comfortable the evening meal here was excellent. The taster starter was excellent (free) and the main course again big portion, and very well presented. The only negative, and this is not the hotel, but if you don't have a care, you are restricted to the bus to the station, which runs every 30 minutes from 5:00 am till 7:30 am . It's then 09:10 am and 13:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday it's 09:10 only return from the station at 17:25 only. If your near the S1 Railway line trains are very regular as they connects the airport to the city. All shops are closed on Sunday as they do not have Sunday trading, the only places open are petrol stations and pubs.
I've stayed at Ampervilla Hotel due to a long night stopover in Munich. Property is located not far from the airport but I would not say it's pretty close, too. It took me around 20 min to get there on taxi from the airport for around 45 EUR. Check in was very fast, took a few minutes. Just filled in a registration form. Receptionist was very polite and friendly. My room was very spacious with a double bed and a balcony. Bathroom was big, too and had both a bath and a shower. The room was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was great with a generous food selection. There are a few free wi-fi networks at the property. So in case one is not working, you can simply choose another network. While checking out Ampervilla have kindly arranged a transportation to a neighboring train station. I recommend this hotel to everyone and will stay there again if there's a chance.
Several of us were stranded in a snowstorm at Munich Airport and needed a hotel for the night. We were lucky to find Ampervilla which was a 20-minute taxi ride away and had large, comfortable rooms for a reasonable price. The bathroom also had enough amenities to make up for not having toiletries at hand and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic. The welcoming atmosphere and the lovely room made a stressful trip much more pleasant.
We arrived to the hotel early in the morning, tired and jet lagged. The receptionist allowed us to check in early and was friendly, helpful and available throughout our stay. The hotel was really lovely, lots of beautiful details and very aesthetically pleasing. The room was nice and comfortable. I would have liked a tea / coffee maker in the room. Robes were available in the sauna, but it would have been nice to also have those in the room. Like many hotels in Europe, our king bed was actually two twin beds jammed together. The beds slid apart a bit as we began to fall through the crack between them. Annoying but typical in many European hotels. The breakfast was okay. The dining room was small and cozy. Enough selection for a one night stay.
The hotel is located in the rather distant outskirts of Munich and seems to cater mostly to visitors with cars who do business in the city or come to sightsee but do not need to stay there for the night. It is quite modern and offers all the services, the breakfast is varied (in the proper weather you can eat it on the terrace), in the evening one can enjoy a glass of beer in the bar. If you like to watch planes, from the balconies overlooking the street you can see every plane heading for Munich airport ;) A car is a must so if you are not travelling by car, forget it. If you are - the parking is very large, if the front part of it is taken, drive a few metres along the way, there is another.
An excellent place to stay and only 20 minutes from Munich airport. Well appointed rooms and very clean. All the staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was superb. I would most certainly stay here again if I was in the region.
Wonderful hotel. Spent 2 nights. Very cosy rooms, decorated in "Tuscany" villa like style. The staff is super friendly. The breakfast was included in the room price and was wonderful; even warm croissants were baked extra for us. Excellent parking with loads of space in front of the hotel and for free. The internet was quite slow unfortunately. All in all - definitely would stay again.
I must agree with what was said before. We stayed there for 2 nights and had a very Pleasant time. The hotel is a bit off the main road. But what a wonderful experience. The staff spoke English and were very friendly. The rooms are large and comfortable. Really Made us feel like we stayed in a villa. Breakfast was very nice and reach of options. Highly recommended.
