Fabulous room, bit of a problem with electricity, rectify immediately, by a very pleasant gentleman. Breakfast really tasty, and the manager could not have been nicer,or more helpful. Well done to all the staff.

I arranged to meet a customer for coffee in the bar. The hotel reception area and the decor in the bar is beautiful and the place is spotless. However, the coffee was one of the worst I've had in a long time. I ordered a double espresso and an americano and was disappointed to see the bar man dispense both out of a machine. We were serviced quickly but both coffees were barely warm. For a hotel of this calibre in this day and age - a barista coffee service should be available. The staff were friendly and efficient but that coffee machine really lets this place down.

Recently stayed 3 nights for a conference. The hotel was very comfortable, all amenities very good and food choice excellent. However, it was the staff that were the highlight of the stay. Nothing was a bother and they were all highly professional from start to finish. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will return to stay again.

This review is about the food served in the main bar. I recently visited this bar, ordered the chicken fillet burger with chips. When it arrived it was covered in some sort of heavy batter, full of oil. Equally the chips were very heavy with oil dripping from them with the slightest squeeze. I got the chicken out and ate it. I didn’t complain. This is very unusual as I have eaten here many many times and it was always fabulous. So it’s just a slight correction to your recipe or cooking method.

There was a party of sorts held in the hotel on the weekend evening we stayed, and the noise kept us awake until past midnight. I think it's a bit unreasonable in a rural hotel. For the dinner, I asked to change the potatos for chips to go with my steak. Even though they have chips on the menu, the waitress said it was a rule that no substitutes are allowed. I don't understand why restaurants do this - it wouldn't cost them apart from the small possibility of a lost €2 on the extra side order, but I felt it was cheap to say no. Overall, it's a fine comfortable hotel, but if you're staying over a weekend then maybe check if you room could have noise interference if that would bother you.

Albeit a short stay, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean and the food was top notch. All amenities in the room were great and the staff were super helpful and friendly. 100% will stay again!!

Had the pleasure of a 3 night stay here for a family wedding. An absolutely fantastic hotel. The management and staff are an absolute credit to the hospitality industry. A stunning hotel. Not a single fault could be found 😊

I called the hotel some time back now as I was attending a wedding there and asked the receptionist when I called to give me some contacts in the area for a hairdresser so we could book for the wedding as we were going to be staying in the hotel. She was lovely and helpful but then all of a sudden a grumpy man came on the phone and told me to use google to find it. When I was there staying it was lovely and reception were great but I would suggest getting rid of the old man who came on the call at reception as he was rude and arrogant and obviously has no comprehension of how to treat the guest. He was well spoken and sounded mature but his attitude was horrible. The poor receptionists that have to work with him I feel sorry for. Maybe if management read this they might have a word with him and tell him to change his ways. Other than that great stay

Had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend! Very welcoming and attentive staff. Aesthetically the hotel is very pleasing and has a great variety of places to relax. We enjoyed both casual and formal dining and were very impressed with hotel facilities.

Stay here for a night every year when we pass through town on our 5 day charity cycle. It never fails to impress. Friendly staff. Great rooms and facilities and the food is really good. The pool and gym are especially good.
