This Tennessee cabin rental is in the friendly community of Muddy Pond on The Cumberland Plateau. Conveniently located just 10 miles north of I-40 between Nashville and Knoxville, you can stop in for several days of refreshment or spend a whole week exploring the beauty of the Cumberland. Within easy driving distance of the cabin rental, are nine state parks including, Fall Creek Falls, Big South Fork, Burgess Falls, Cumberland, and Picket. Also nearby are an abundance of public lakes like Dale Hollow Lake and Center Hill. This romantic vacation cabin offers modern amenities and features like a king sized bed and bedside Jacuzzi. The cabin is nestled in hemlocks beside a small private lake, where you can relax in the serenity and enjoy 60 acres of nature and solitude.

Surrounding your cabin rental you can enjoy shopping and browsing a variety of unique shops.

Beautiful Setting

The location is secluded and very cozy. Great WIFI for our grandson!! The kitchen was well equipped for our stay. We were not too far away from town which had a couple FABULOUS restaurants: Los Agave's, very authentic Mexican food with a lovely staff and Sapori di Napoli, as "foodies" we did not expect such an upscale Italian Restaurant in such a small town!! We would travel to Monterey to eat at either restaurant again!!

The cabin was rustic and charming, and had a great back porch with rockers & a swing overlooking the pond. We enjoyed the dock and fishing in the big pond. It was nice to float around the pond in the aluminum boat. We saw several wildlife. The cabin and area was quiet and peaceful.

Ideal getaway!

This stay was exactly what my wife and I were looking for, for our babymoon! We had the greatest time thanks to the cabin & pond location being so quiet, peaceful, and away from it all. The cabin was so cozy and clean, and we had a great time catching bluegill in the pond (the bass were too smart and kept missing the hook!). 10/10 we’re planning on going back someday with our first child!

The pictures do not do this place justice! If you are looking for a private, quiet cabin stay to relax you have found it! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Truly, a hidden gem. We will be returning!

We loved the location and the privacy…if the cabin would have had some newer furniture(couches and chairs are worn out)and some furnishings such as Kleenex, maybe some shampoos or soap etc . Just some convenience items you don’t necessarily have with you when traveling would’ve made it 5 star. Also having to remove bedding,start the washing machine and take out trash is just part of the cleaning fee we pay for in my opinion…happy to do it but just not the norm in other rentals we have stayed at..nothing left to clean other than sanitize things at that point. We still loved it and would stay again hopefully just some helpful tips.
