Smoke

You can ask for a no smoking room - and if the winds are favorable, you might get one. And then lose it when the winds shift. Ventilation and climate control consist of windows (allowing in the frigid wind and colorful street noise) and a marginally functional heating / cooling system. The staff is extremely happy, vivacious, and willing to serve.
