Light, bright, modern and stylish
This is a lovely stylish apartment in a brand new modern block. The Lounge patio window and balcony faces south with an open aspect and the apartment is very light and sunny. We received exceptionally fast and friendly responses from Paula and she was very accommodating to our needs, allowing us to have a late check-out due to our afternoon flight.
The location was excellent for us, with bus stops right outside, Msida Creek and Marina only steps away and a very pleasant 30 minute walk into Valletta. There is plenty of choice for food shopping in a number of supermarkets only 10 minutes walk away. We can thoroughly recommend 'Down the Rabbit Hole', a superb pub just around the corner on Triq D'Argens where there is a great choice of beer and a warm welcome. Msida feels like a living area rather than a tourist area, and although there are some restaurants close by, there are many more in Sliema, only a 15 minute walk.
The only note of caution that we would place on this apartment is that it's situated on a very busy road junction - but the apartment does have double glazing and air conditioning. The traffic didn't disturb us at night but having the patio windows open during the day was quite noisy. However, having said all that, it was a brilliant vantage point to watch the very entertaining driving antics of the Maltese!
