Beautiful Farm House

Great place to take the whole family! Very quiet and creek is in walking distance! My family enjoyed playing in the creek and hanging out on the wrap around porch.

Great little oasis

This was a perfect place to get away and relax. Little cell phone service but Wi-Fi was available, making it perfect for unplugging!

Beautifully restored farmhouse with tons of privacy. It’s a little off the beaten path but we’ll worth the drive.

Lovely cabin. Plenty of space for our family of 9.

Lovely cabin. Plenty of space for our family of 9. Games, puzzles, chairs, life jackets, and kitchen equipped with the necessities. The beds were comfortable, the screened porch was lovely, and the creek access was perfect. Ivy Vacations is a great host. Thanks for a great little vacation!

Family at the Creek

We chose this property because of its location near the creek and because the farmhouse met our family’s needs. It felt like home right away, was clean and comfortable. The creek did not disappoint! We loved our stay!

We had the perfect Thanksgiving vacation at the John Thomas Farmhouse in Mountain View, AR!! The property was absolutely beautiful and not too far from everything we wanted to do! Ivy Vacations made our stay so easy!!! Thank you for memories we will cherish forever!

One of the best rentals we have stayed in!

One of the best rentals we have stayed in! Beautiful home, well stocked with plenty of items needed for our stay. The creek was very nice. I would definitely take note when they recommend water shoes in their items to bring. Our toddler enjoyed seeing the cows throughout the day, along with occasionally seeing a few other wildlife. We enjoyed our weekend getaway with family!

We loved everything about this house. The scenery was picture perfect and the house was so comfortable. Every detail for a perfect getaway was thought of with this rental. Very accommodating. The pictures on the website can’t even compare to how incredible this place is.

Wonderful and peaceful stay. Just what we needed!

We loved our stay in this remote location. The home was clean and comfortable. The highlights to our stay were the river access on the property and the fire pit. Our kids loved throwing rocks in the river and making s’mores. They also loved seeing the cattle! We were able to go horseback riding with a company nearby and eat at a great cafe in town as well. Overall, it was a wonderful and peaceful stay. Just what we needed!

The perfect quiet gettaway

You will love it! Views are pretty. Property is very quiet. Perfect in the summertime with the creek running through. Firepit perfect for gatherings…a really neat place! It is a few minutes out of town so make sure to have everything you need if you don’t plan to go into town. A really special hidden treasure!

Amazing stay at the farmhouse

This property was perfect for two couples, each with one child. Definitely had room for more if needed. Very clean upon arrival. The farmhouse was gorgeous and had all of the amenities needed. The property was as described, out in the middle of nowhere, but that’s just what we were looking for! Beautiful view and access to the creek was a plus! Definitely recommend!

My family truly enjoyed our stay.

My family truly enjoyed our stay. The John Thomas farmhouse was one of the best rentals we’ve ever experienced. Everything was perfect for a fun, quiet, restful vacation. The location was our kids’ dream, as they saw a variety of fun animals (including a road runner, a wild turkey, cows and calves, turtles, and a sweet doggy), and they had fun swimming and exploring right out the front door. The house itself was beautiful and so private. We needed for nothing! We were able to bring in groceries and cook and grill every meal. Just a lovely place!
