What an awful place! Changed hotel just to use the pool. Pool was closed to hotel guests but used as part of a swimming club!!!!! Hotel is outdated and so many things need repairing. Bathroom in a disgusting state, shower falling apart, towels have holes! Breakfast was actually disgusting, mouldy fruit and stale bread. I will never go there again!
A lovely, comfortable hotel overlooking the lake. A very speedy check in and very friendly, welcoming staff. They know all about the local drink Palinka, and their tasting session was extremely good. The room was also very nice. Great hotel, recommend it :)
The room was comfortable and staff very nice. If you're hoping for a swim though, check in advance. You may or may not be allowed to use the pool depending on what else is going on in the hotel. The manager is not especially concerned and sees no problem advertising the hotel as 'with pool' even though guests are not necessarily allowed to use it. His rationale - hotels advertise rooms and sometimes they're full, so it's no problem to deny guests access to the swimming pool! Your speedos may have to stay in your suitcase.
I been twice in Pamaran Hotel in Nola. It is not a luxury hotel but for less than 50€ you will enjoy a big room with balcon and bathroom abd italian tv. Persons are very charming and it is quiet, what more in front if Vesuvio!
Stayed in this hotel last weekend. I can put up with bad decor and old bathrooms if the breakfast is decent and the staff are welcoming but alas one croissant per person mouldy bread no toaster and no espresso unless you payed extra . This is not a four star hotel .
Everything is old here. Rooms are big, but you'll need a magnifying glass to see the TV. Only Italian channels. Fells like an old Italian movie. Choose this place only if you'll do some business near by.
I booked this hotel through on the beach .co.uk so you would think it was a holiday hotel, most certainly not, we arrived late at night booked in the lift was broken so had to carry 3 large suit cases up 2 flights of stairs, we had 2 rooms we couldn't open our door so 2 of the staff tried for 10 minutes and had to break the lock to get in, my son sat on the end of the bed and the leg broke and the bed collapsed. There were 2 dining rooms a large one where everybody ate(mostly Italians) we were not allowed in this one and ate in a small dining room on our own for most of the time food was awful very bland and the same menu with occasional change all 3 nights we stayed, we had to leave early as my daughter was ill but we were relieved to leave there, it advertised casino,,bar and gym these were not available. The only good thing was the receptionist very helpful
This was a traditional small Italian hotel--small with friendly, helpful staff. Food was not terrific for Italy. This is a good location if you are seeking to sight see around Naples. For the cost, we have absolutely no complaints.
Booked for a week but changed hotels after the second night. The matras is so hard, with big springs in it, that i slept on the couch. Rooms need to be updated. Airco makes a lot of noise and didn't work in the first room we had. At the breakfast buffet there were bowls of fruit which looked like they could have been from a week ago. The bread was old (dry/hard). The receptionist said the hotel was full, but we ony saw one other couple at breakfast both times, maybe the other guests knew what was served. Changed to Crowne Plaza in Caserta which is definately worth the 4 stars they have. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
