Smack dab entre Northeast Harbor (5 min) y Bar Harbor (10 min) de esta casa de Maine completamente renovado cuenta con todas las comodidades de una casa nueva con todo el encanto de una casa de campo histórica Maine. Bañera gigante y ducha de lluvia de la planta baja, ducha de hidromasaje con cabezas de agua de doble piso de arriba, cocina del chef totalmente equipada, chimenea de granito están entre las características para hacer que su estancia sea cómoda.

La casa se encuentra en la unidad de sonido en un acre de terreno boscoso 1. 75 con un hermoso jardín de flores, arbustos de lilas maduros y árboles de manzano silvestre. Un breve paseo por Sound Drive hasta la entrada de la pista de tobogán gigante que lleva directamente al Parque Nacional de Acadia para practicar senderismo y un paseo de cinco minuto en una u otra dirección te lleva a Eagle Lake o superior Hadlock para el ciclismo. Acadia en sus manos!

La habitación del segundo piso tiene su propio baño y medio y tiene dos camas nido individuales que pueden dormir uno cada una, o pueden aparecer a dormir dos cada uno. Un baño completo adicional con zona de baño independiente y garra pie bañera con ducha de lluvia se encuentra en el primer piso.

Una casa realmente cómodo y sereno, se considerará mascotas de buen comportamiento.

Beautiful fully equipped kitchen with two refrigerators. Bathrooms were very nice and spa like. Plenty of space for everyone. We were up for our daughter’s wedding and there was enough space to get ready and prep food. Parking was limited, owner has a cabin on property. She was accommodating as she was traveling during our stay.

Lovely house that my family really enjoyed for a 3 night stay in Acadia. Was big enough for all of us with comfortable beds and a huge well stocked kitchen. It's a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor which is nice. And excellent place to stay

Fantastic location and place

Myself, my 3 sisters and mom stayed here for four nights. We had a great time. We had no issues with the walk through rooms on the second floor, we just left doors open in case anyone needed the bathroom. The master was private though. We also used the twin beds in the attic which does have its own half bath. While rooms had no AC we left windows open till bed time then closed them at night to block the street noise which was super minimal at night. 3rd floor attic was the warmest, so be sure to open the windows early too cool off. We turned fans on high which blocked any remaining noise and kept it cool. No curtains on rooms other than master, so light does come in early, but was fine for us. Kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need to cook and bathrooms were clean. Shower head was good for a tall person. 20 minutes or less to anywhere on the island and less than 15 to Bar Harbor. Acadia just down the road.

Charming Maine Getaway

Lovely place to stay for a country Maine experience, and very accessible to Acadia’s hiking trails (Giant Slide Trail, challenging boulder scramble!). Well-stocked kitchen (spices galore) and living room (games, books). We didn’t find coffee or toiletries but brought our own. Instructions were very clear. Property owner was very responsive with communications. Abel’s Lobster Pound nearby was a superbly scenic place to enjoy a delicious dinner and refreshing drinks the first night!

We had a lovely stay at this charming vintage farmhouse located close to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and Northeast Harbor. The location was ideal for exploring the area, and the peaceful surroundings made for a relaxing home base.The home was clean overall, and the kitchen was well-equipped with appliances, making meal prep easy. We especially appreciated the beautiful flowers outside — a lovely touch that made the place feel welcoming.The upstairs bedrooms did get a bit warm during the day, but the provided fans made it comfortable enough for sleeping. The beds were decent, and the pack ’n play with a mattress was perfect for our baby — a thoughtful addition that made traveling with a little one much easier.If you enjoy a vintage, cozy atmosphere with easy access to Acadia and nearby towns, this farmhouse is a great choice.

We love our stay. If you are looking for a two story center hall colonial, this is not your house. If you are looking for a taste of old time Maine, this is your house. I sum it up as old time meets modern fusion. Funky layout. That’s the old farm house charm. We two adults with two adult children liked it. Loved the kitchen. This is the modern part. We enjoyed the living room with a family movie each night. While you are not walking into the main entrance of Acadia, it was convenient not to drive to one of our hikes. We walked the 0.2 miles down the road and onto Giant Slide Trail, which turns from moderate to advanced, so be prepared if you hike this trail. House is on a secondary road and you will get road noise from traffic. Long hikes and good food turned into sound sleep for us. Back and forth to Bar Harbor was an easy drive. Loved Tracy’s information she provides in run up to your stay. Met Tracy on our way out. She is fabulous.

Roomy Stay in Acadia

My husband, two toddlers, and I visited Acadia the week of Memorial Day and had a great stay at the Farmhouse. It is conveniently located in the middle of Acadia so all areas are easy to get to. The house was clean and cozy and would have comfortably fit one or two more families. The kitchen was fully stocked so we were able to eat most of our meals at the house.

Lovely home with easy access to everything

The home’s proximity to Bar Harbor and various points of interest in the park itself was great. I only wish we had more time to explore the quiet side. Owner was very responsive and the home was immaculate and thoughtfully appointed. The road noise was not a problem with fans running at night and the windows closed. I would worry about the bedrooms being hot during warmer months, but I would love to return in the Fall sometime!

Wonderful Old Farmhouse

Great Location for Exploring Acadia

We enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. It’s in a perfect location to explore all of the towns and park—nothing is more than 15minutes. It is even nicer than the pictures and had everything we needed. Plenty of space and a well stocked kitchen. Tracey was helpful and responsive!
