Asked front desk for laundry coins, they us the right amount of money but wrong type of coins. Front desk is only open for a short time so we couldn’t ask again when we tried doing laundry in the evening. We were only able to wash clothes and not dry them. Room had no hand towel, just washcloths. Only a small packet of shampoo, no conditioner or body wash. Just a single bar of soap to use for both washing hands and showering. Property details says there is a restaurant but this is not true. There is a shared kitchen for guests to make their own food.

Great location for a two night stay. Easy checkin, the upstairs large communal area fantastic. Is very big and has everything you need to cook. Very clean, staff very friendly and helpful

Pros: Excellent location; terrific view of the mountains; cooking/dining /common room very good with great views; staff pleasant and helpful. Cons: Small, shoebox rooms - a great disappointment for the price. Poor soundproofing - I could hear people in the next room talking during the night. Would I recommend it? Not really.

Beautiful location & deck with view for dining

Beautiful location. Front desk staff super helpful and friendly, especially Hafizah. Clean community kitchen stocked with dushes, pots, pans and cleaning supplies, BBQ grill, refrigerator space and small amount of free supplies like milk. Had french press or plunger for coffee so bring coffee grinds. So close to hikes. Great value for price.

Great property in the heart of Mount Cook Village. Room was a good size and featured a big bathroom and a small “kitchen” and fridge. There is an upstairs lounge with incredible views and a big kitchen if you want to cook your own meals since the restaurant options are few and expensive in Mount Cook Village. The room was very quiet and also had a big double chair that could be pulled out into a single bed. A great option for less money!

Overall, a good stay!

The room was basically as advertised. The king size bed is 2 twins put together so there is a lump in the middle if you choose that option. The Mountain View was great, the kitchen and lounge area were nice as well. The whole restroom is a little tough to keep dry as the shower is the same floor. We would stay here again!
