We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful inn with beautiful wood floors. Very Norwegian. Lovely sitting room and breakfast lounge. Smaller private rooms but with a great ocean view. We weren’t used to common bathrooms but not a big deal.

International heaven with a local heartbeat

Very welcoming staff and a great location right in front of the fjords made the experience relaxing and enjoyable. Catogarden is all about mindfulness and "sharing is caring" kind of behavour. Nice extra services like yoga class (free of charge), sauna and kayak tours. All with a view, of course. They also have a honesty bar and a small boutique whereas you can buy some food or local crafts. Also had the opportunity to have an amazing barbecue on the patio of the hotel.

Very nice place. Only disappointment was the hot tub. They advertise they have a hot tub but fail to mention it costs $30.00 per person extra to use. Plus it wasn’t hot and they said it could take 2 hours to warm up. They prominently show the hot tub in all advertising. Very misleading.

A warm an inviting place to stay in Reine

We arrived in the Lofoten Islands after a record snow a week before, with more snow than in the last 25 years. It was a winter wonderland. Upon arriving at the B&B, which is the size of a small hotel, we were warmly greeted by Runhild, the owner, who showed us around the house. The room we had selected online had a beautiful view. I am a professional photographer, so I was in the middle of photographing Lofoten and she made suggestions on me for both photographing the village and the Northern Lights. My 24 year old daughter accompanied me and she was invited to do a Kundalini class with Runhild the following morning. I had also participated in a regular yoga class, impromptu, the previous evening. They also had an espresso maker that made the best cup of coffee I had in Norway. This is a warm and welcoming place in a spectacular location. I'd love to be there in summer when it's possible to kayak. I'd highly recommend Catogarden any time of year!

Rent, fint och mysigt. VÀldigt trevlig personal och varmt vÀlkomnande. Gemensamt kök, litet men ok, saknade dock ugn. Gratis yoga pÄ morgonen, var superskönt och en bra start pÄ dagen. Man kan Àven boka kajakturer. Har man inte nÄgot emot delat badrum och kök sÄ fungerar det utmÀrkt att bo hÀr.

Fire fantastiske overnattinger. Mye rom for opphold innendĂžrs, fine verandaer og uteplasser. Fin morgenyoga og flott treningsrom. Alt er gjennomtenkt, det er rent og lekkert. Nydelige gamle mĂžbler. Bra selvbetjeningslĂžsninger. Popcornmaskin til fri benyttelse! 😊 Det er alltid nok av rene hĂ„ndklĂŠr og kluter, alltid toalettpapir. Veldig gode senger. Det eneste vi egentlig savnet var oppbevaring (skap/kommode/knagger/ hyller) for klĂŠr og smĂ„saker pĂ„ rommet.

Sjarmerende sted med hjemmeatmosfÊre og fin innredning. Vi hadde et rom med fantastisk utsikt mot sjÞen. CatogÄrdteamet har vÊrt veldig hyggelig og imÞtekommende. Det er mulighet til Ä lage frokoster/mat i et minikjÞkken og spise i et koselig spiserom/stue. Felles bad/toaletter oppleves ikke som noe problem. God kaffe og mulighet til Ä bli kjent med andre gjester. NÊrhet til flere spisesteder, busstopp og butikk gjÞr dette stedet veldig praktisk. Gangavstand til Reinebringen. I tillegg yoga og padling : D Anbefales!
