What we booked: 3 night family package deal in a family apartment (aka family-sized hotel room) including breakfast, all you can eat buffet for our child, entrance to indoor water park and sauna area, usage of sport facilities eg. (kid) bowling, Minigolf, Badminton, etc. Hotel room: reading other reviews I realized that many people confused the so called “family apartment” of the hotel and the actual “apartments” that are located nearby the hotel building and are actual apartments with facilities that one’s own flat has. To avoid disappointments I’d definitely rename the “family apartments” as they are actual hotel rooms with an extra sleeping cabin for children and extra seating space. They offer what every hotel room does; daily room cleaning, fresh towels, bed linen, etc. while the regular apartments are just likes the ones of Center Parcs or Roompot: no room cleaning, bed linen needs to be arranged by yourself, take your own towel, ... We decided to book the “family apartment” and not a regular hotel room not only because it was more comfortable for our son to have his own separated sleeping cabin but also because they’re fully renovated. The interior is modern, especially the bathroom looks great with such shower system I haven’t seen before. The balcony is spacious and upon request they provide you baby equipment free of charge. (Buggy, changing table, diaper trash can, baby tub, etc.). I especially liked the extra touch like the shower glove shaped as the resort’s mascot, a rubber ducky, a bottle of water. I also found it very appealing that not only the adults got bath robes and slippers but also our toddler had his own in kid-size. Food: the Italian restaurant was closed for deep cleaning but we could sit in Restaurant Panorama and eat from the Italian restaurant’s menu card. One evening we also tried the offers of Panorama and both times we were baffled by the horribly long waiting times. Even when we ordered a simple pizza and pasta dish it took more than an our for them to serve us. Such a resorts where loads of families go with small kids can especially not afford making the guests wait so long. The food quality was average and prices were high. (For example the gnocchi with blue cheese sauce was sadly missing the blue cheese...) I really don’t know how they ended up in the Michelin guide. The breakfast buffet however was really great, one of the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever encountered. Rich selection, local products, and fresh bread. The all you can eat children buffet was a little bit of a disappointment. Children up to 15 years of age are allowed to make use of it but I don’t think it offers enough and is appealing for a teenager. The breakfast is kind of nice but lunch and dinner weren’t always fresh and the selection was very limited. I think either do it, but then good, or don’t do it as it can disappoint guests. The idea is, tho, very nice and with a bit of improvement it can absolutely add to the experience. Water world: very clean, very neat. Two pools for little children with several mini slides and two adult slides of which children can also make use of (with parental guidance). The big pool that has both in,- and outdoor sections was also good however a little bit boring, especially inside. Loved the steam bath accessible directly from the pool area and also the separate sauna world had nice offers. Friendly touch with free drinking water and fresh apples. Activities: tried mini golf and kid bowling, wished to try actual bowling but well... living with a toddler :) I have to unfortunately comment on an employee in the Fun Factory who was very friendly, however also possibly in love or so, because his mind was constantly elsewhere. Both times we played kid bowling he forgot to switch it on and when we attended the movie evening for families he only showed up to start the program after my husband went to look for him. First he put in a different family movie from what was advertised then he realized 10 mins into the movie and came in to ask whether we wanted the one planned for the day. The guests all agreed to change the movies when he put in a horror movie (mark my words: there were like 10 toddlers in the room with parents) and after staring at the menu for a couple of minutes (blood and all showing neatly on the cinema screen :D) he unsurely asked if this was actually the movie of the day... roughly 15 minutes after this horror show - couldn’t switch the projector back after switching it off for whatever reason - we could finally start Zoomania. He was highly highly highly incompetent but we needed to laugh anyways. The indoor playground with a mini slide, a wooden train track, table football, movie corner etc was the favorite of our son and was a location where we could rest a bit while he was calmly playing. Daycare: we tried to put our son into the daycare facility and informed the lady there that this would be his first time alone without us. She assured us that she’d call if anything goes wrong which she did in less than 6 minutes after we were gone. I can’t blame her or the other caretaker for our son crying, he just simply missed mama, but upon our arrival he was just wandering around the play area, sobbing and calling for me, while none of the ladies showed any compassion or at all talked to him. After that we tried to approach the group during lunch time but we didn’t really feel welcome. Other: to our surprise we were charged a quite high parking fee which we thought would be included in the booking price. The resort has its own supermarket with a reasonable selection and normal prices compared to regular Swiss supermarkets. We selected dates outside of holiday times and starting from Monday so there was no crowd, providing a chilled atmosphere and great chance to try out whatever we wanted without needing to stand in line. All in all, pleasant experience and will consider returning here or to another Familotel facility.

This place is the worst possible place in switzerland to stay of you want to visit any attraction. And here's why: 1. The hotel is in morsach which is 80 kilometers (about 50 miles) away from zürich airport so if you want to see the city you have to first spend taxi money to go to the hotel and taxi money for going to zürich again which in all you'll spend CHF 300 or so on the low end by Uber to zürich and back . ( I would however recommend renting a car at the airport if you are staying for a longer period of time so that you can save on taxi charges ) 2.The apartments have no toiletries in them and the service is non-existent. The site we booked from said that the room will have daily cleaning and free parking included. Yet during the checkout these hidden charges are the ones that bother me a lot *List of hidden charges* 1. 120 CHF additional cleaning charges AFTER they make you clean the room yourself and when checking in the bed is not even made (all the six beds) you have to make yourself and while checking out you have to leave the beds at their original condition with the covers removed. You have to clean out the WC and the showers but the problem which arises here is that the floor of the bathroom had no drainage so if you have an accidental bathtub spillage you are screwed in their book. They expect the bathroom floors to be left dry without any direct sunlight in the bathroom or even a simple drain. All the trash has to be thrown outside the apartment ( now this part infuriates me ) first of all I stayed for 7 days and with 4 people, all eating and the trash was so much but they had included 1 medium sized trash bag for the seven days and they do not replenish it, so somehow I managed to fit all the trash in the bag and I called the reception to ask where am I supposed to find the dumpster and the person on the line replied with a very rude tone and said I do not know find it yourself , must be nearby these are the exact words which were spoken to me. I mean we pay for cleaning and staying and even the parking all we can now ask for is to ask right ? To ask for how to do what you're requesting the guest to do is a courtesy , yet these people made me feel like I'm paying for working for myself. The feeling you get from this is so unjustified that you just want to leave. 2. The parking : so as I mentioned earlier , we rented a car from the airport and the website mentioned that the parking for *hotel* guests was free, but during checkout we were charged an additional 54 CHF for a parking that was supposedly reserved for the *apartment* number. Now see my emphasis on hotel and apartment on which I'll explain now. 3. Now a 100 percent what I'll get as an reply from the *hotel* will say that the benefits of free parking and daily room cleaning are included for the *hotel* guests this place has a apartment and hotel paradox the property has both an apartment and a hotel in it yet because of their ambiguous nature of advertisement a normal person is confused of those benefits between the hotel and apartment. This is not a valid reason , this property should be ashamed of the ruses they play on guests 4. There is one small utility / grocery store on the property from which they expect you to buy additional garbage bags and toiletries at higher prices compared to the rest of the market . I would suggest driving to the nearest coop pronto in brunnen and buying all the supplies you need. *End of additional charges* 3.The property does not care at all to tell about its benefits and practically does not care . It has a go kart track a viewpoint to the beautiful lake Lucerne it has a petting zoo and a moderately ok pool area and a bowling alley and an arcade, yet none of this Is advertised or even told about, you are supposed to roam around and find these on your own. 4. They expect you to checkout by 10 AM otherwise *wink* *wink* BOOM additional charges time !! And if you are checking in early ( well good luck ) you have to wander around till 3-4 pm to get your room. 5.short bad points -bad staff -pay for everything ( they are practically the EA games for hotels ) -not near to the city Lucerne do not get confused, this is practically all the other way from Lucerne and ALWAYS check how to do what you're going to do and the distance and pricing for that from the hotel -they simply don't care - seems low prices but is high priced due to *wink* *wink* additional charges (this hotel looves additional charges ) 6.well now time for the few good points -good viewpoint -away from City and secluded -nothing else. And this is why I do not recommend this property to stay in Switzerland at all. Over and out.

Before you book... Read in detailes all terms... Initially photos are mis leading... They show u they r 4 star while they r apartments far away fro. The lake and the break fast location and the park which r paid services r having the view... No towles or soap.. Or even bed sheets or covers... Apparently those guys who claims that most hotels in Switzerland have the same system of clean your own room and get your own towels doesn't care about thier country name which start the hotel name

We were lucky and got an upgrade to a higher room category, so... the room was awesome! The water park has a lot to offer: A large indoor pool directly connected to a outdoor pool with 'canyon' function and a couple of bubble bath places. Another indoor bubble pool with slightly higher temperatures. The features we loved a lot were the steam rooms and the sauna area with a wide variety of options. But the Roman-Irish bath was just the best! (be aware, Thursdays are clothing optional days) Food: The breakfast buffet is nice, the earlier in the morning you have breakfast the better. One morning at 9.30am the scrambled eggs looked old and were cold. Dinner at the same place, in the Panorama restaurant, was excellent. Wasn't there the one waiter who didn't seem to be interested in anything at all, I would give the whole restaurant a five star rating for service, food and friendliness. Over all, this is an excellent place to spend a couple/three days to recover from our daily lives.

Ok hotel located just outside of Brunnen, UR. Cater families and gets fairly crowded. Hosts a public swimming pool which makes the swimming experience ultra crowded for guests hotel. Offers plenty of outdoor activities. Ok breakfast and food quality. Claims to be a family hotel but not truly comparable to Tirol region family hotel standard, except for prices.

We stayed in Holiday Park from 18 to 24 June 2018 and we booked two apartments for three small families. There are no towels or soaps in the apartment and they expect guests to put the bed sheets and pillow covers. There were two common washing machines and one iron for so many apartments and sometimes you have to wait couple of hours before you get your turn and you have to pay for washing machine and dryer. Based on our booking (through booking.com) they were supposed to charge 110 Franks for each apartment against one time cleaning charges however they charged 140 on each apartment. Worst of all, when we left the apartments, they charged our credit card(without our permission) for additional cleaning charges of 240 CHF. When we called them they mentioned that the apartment were are not in the condition that they were expecting, They expected the guest to remove bed sheets, threw the garbage and put all the utensils in the dishwasher(though we have put most of the utensils in the dishwasher anyways). There was no damage or stains in any part of the apartment. No-one mentioned us their expectation when we check in or check out. We end up paying 560 CHF for one time cleaning. This is clearly a daylight robbery to my understanding. I investigated this with others guests, this is quite common for Swiss holiday part to charge Exorbitant charges of cleaning after guest leave the apartment. I suggest everyone to be very careful with Swiss Holiday park

Amazing location, provided with a very nice pool (open until night!), nice and clean room, excellent food and water quality and kind personnel. Very close contact with nature, an ideal place for families, singles, and couples, for 3-4 days. Hiking places are very close, Go-karting it's lots of fun and it's so peaceful at the same time! I totally recommend it!

We spent two days at this wonderful holiday resort which felt more like a cruise-liner than a hotel. The village resort is at the foot of the Alps and 45 min to an hour from Zurich. It is a little piece of heaven - warm suntanning 25 degree weather by the pool with the backdrop of dramatic mountains and snow covered peaks. The rooms were neat and surprisingly modern for a hotel that looks like it was built in the 80s. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return to this spot and recommend it as an extra stop for anyone visiting Zurich (with children or not) looking for an affordable two or three day break.

It is high above Lucern lake and view is breath taking. Fantastic for families, there is playground for kids in little forest, and grill where you can make your own bbq and lot of space for picnic. It surrounded by walking path from which is stunning view to Alps and lake. Near by you can ride a horse and drive carting. There is a hotel that has indoor and outdoor waterslides.

The stay here was great and awesome. Everyone welcome us with a great smile. The facilities are awesome. We love the indoor and outdoor pool. Daughter had a great time riding the pony. Snow rain was indeed good.
