When driving to a VRBO property, my first thoughts are how much have thing deteriorated since the pictures were taken. The Desert Nest was in excellent shape. The kitchen was well equipped. Whole bean coffee was provided. Light switches were labeled, All in all it was easy to feel comfortable in the property.
Dark sight on the ridge was ideal for astrophotography

Off the beaten path, everything was as advertised. Outstanding communication. Really enjoyed the outside spaces. Great central location for visiting Joshua Tree and Palm Springs. I would suggest a vehicle with good ground clearance, the last mile of road might challenge a low vehicle.

We loved this spot! Perfect place for my partner and I to get away for a few days. Everything was very comfortable and the views were fabulous. Great location about midway between Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. Was very peaceful, could spend every morning listening to the birds on the deck. And the landscaping and cactus/succulent collection were absolutely to die for! Would definitely stay again.
