A beautiful home in a fantastic location

Our 3-generation family (ages 2-84) enjoyed 10 wonderful days at A Piece of Tranquility. This beautiful home is spacious enough for us to spread out for privacy or gather to cook meals and enjoy eating together. There is much to do in this area: we rode the Scenic Blue Ridge railway from Blue Ridge into McCaysville (don't miss this experience!), we hiked up to waterfalls, we visited the Big Foot Museum (we are now believers!) and did lots of shopping, sight-seeing and dining in Elijay, McCaysville, Blue Ridge, and Copperhill. We went to Mercier's and rode the tractor through the orchards (such fun!). The home itself is great! We enjoyed the wraparound decks for sunsets and watching the deer. gathered by the fireplace and completed TWO 1000 piece puzzles and used the kitchen to cook many meals. The basement has a pool table that the kids loved, as well as cornhole that was a big hit. They enjoyed sliding down the sloping yard using boxes, as there was no snow as we had hoped. No matter....they had a blast! Now, one word of caution, apparently this area has many different critters that like to make their way into the house, and we had many asian beetles (they look like lady bugs, so it wasn't too bad!), as well as bugs that look like scorpions and spiders make their way into the house (the spiders and scorpions were mainly in the basement area). We were all fine, and nobody was bitten, so it was all good. Buffy is excellent with communication and a pleasure to work with.

The Perfect Christmas Getaway

This place was truly a home away from home for us! The kids enjoyed the ample amount of toys and running around in the front yard, while the adults enjoyed watching the sunset and shooting pool at night. It was perfectly decorated for Christmas and we hope to stay here again!

Wonderful mountains

Beautiful property! Convenient to all that north Georgia has to offer! Our family spent a week here and loved it all. Property management was extremely responsive and replied very quickly with any questions. The property had everything you could need to have a wonderful vacation.
