A wonderful cottage
A really well equipped, beautifully designed cottage. I couldn’t fault it for a family break away, we have a 5 and 3 year old and it worked really well for us, with lots of fun days out within driving distance.

Cute house, nice location
The house is nicely decorated, has comfortable beds and it's located in a convenient location. The only (small) downside was the shower. It was difficult to adjust.
We loved the privacy of Archway Cottage and found it very quaint. We could feel the history, but had all modern conveniences. Was an easy drive to other villages in The Cotswolds. Spotless and warm ...just right .

A comfortable little cottage, the Archway is perfectly situated from which to explore the Cotswolds.
We enjoyed our stay here very much. The cottage has a plenty of space in which to relax comfortably, and it is situated in one of the less busy villages, so parking and walking around are easy The village has a well-stocked shop and an excellent cafe, with plenty of trails round it, making it a great for our dog. I hope to go back there again soon and would recommend it

A beautiful stay at Archway
The cottage is clean and spacious, good cooking facilities. We enjoyed the gas fires, although the one downstairs takes a little getting used to. Lovely clean bathroom. The area is great with two very nice pubs in the area. I recommend reading the guest book. The location is beautiful make sure you get out and explore.

Great place!
We had a lovely stay at this property. It’s much bigger than expected and feels very cosy with a well-thought-out layout. The décor is beautiful, and the fire in the top room was especially cosy and very easy to use. Unfortunately, the fire on the ground floor wasn’t working during our stay, so we weren’t able to use it.
There were five of us staying, but we were only provided with one and a half toilet rolls and half a kitchen roll, which felt a little insufficient for the number of guests. The property was clean overall, although we did notice quite a few cobwebs.
Despite these small issues, I would highly recommend this place. The location is great, with a lovely little shop and some great pubs nearby. The Great Western serves really nice food as well.

Lovely cottage in a quiet village
We had a lovely stay at archway cottage, the house was spacious and comfortable!
The town it’s located in is picturesque and quite with one lovely shop and cafe in and two pubs.
The only thing I would say could do with a little work is the cleanliness. Mostly it was tidy and clean but a couple things like dust on tv cabinets and a few marks on toilet and sink.
This is definelty not a reason not to stay. Our stay was lovely and we would be back!

Somewhat disappointed
Lovely location and we had a restful getaway, however a couple of things let it down.
We booked the cottage with the plan to use the kitchen/living room, only to find out that the fire wasn’t working. It seemed like this had been waiting for repairs for a while, and therefore it would have been nice to have been told prior to arrival. The fire was the main purpose for our booking so was very let down, and it did mean the basement room felt very cold when being used.
Whilst the house felt clean, the number of cobwebs definetly took the shine of it. I understand the countryside and cottages of this age are more prone to spiders, but this was another level and just felt as if these had been ignored.
The cottage was quiet and relaxing, but these elements did take the shine of the place unfortunately.
