Switched our reservation the morning of our arriva

We reserved a king room two weeks in advance. When we arrived, we were told that we’d been switched to a queen room the morning of our stay because the king rooms were oversold. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient. The beds were hard as rocks.

The front desk check-in clerk was rude. The swimming pool was not open and it is June. Apparently the pool area needed repairs and/or painting, which I thought should have been done before June. When reservations were made/confirmed, there was no mentionof pool being closed. We had 3 very disappointed kids.
